It seems there is no need to do advertising to this place.
The guests from the farms and hotels near this trattoria will not pass this lovely place and other tourists will not be able to find the way.
The Trattoria Borgo situated on the top of Racciano hill. There is not any signs on the main road to this tratorria. However, there is fresh and testy cuisine and place is crowded by the guests.
Of course you should try the “borgo” meat there. The house wine is good, also.

We came to this restaurant on our last evening of our holidays as it was our favourite restaurant from 3 years ago when we stayed very close by at Il Raccianello. Again, we had a fantastic meal and the quality of the food was superb. The staff were attentive and polite. We started with a mixed platter of typical Tuscan food which we all tucked into, followed by huge pizzas and a lamb dish which my eldest daughter opted for. All consumed voraciously, we ended with a couple of tasty desserts. Although not cheap at all, we really enjoyed the food and the al fresco dining with a view! We will definitely come here again when we visit next but please bring back the chocolate hot pot that you used to have 3 years ago! My kids really missed it this time round!

We didn't plan on visiting this restaurant, but happened upon it when we skipped San Gimignano's crowds one Sunday. We are so glad we did. The view from the terrace was outstanding, and it was a beautiful day. We have a two-year-old, and so anything servers do to make our life easier is greatly appreciated. They had a high chair and quick service and delivery of food (we were there for lunch, and granted, there weren't many people).

The food was good, definitely not the best meal we had in Tuscany but it was good and we felt like we got our money's worth. I had the papardelle with wild boar sauce - tasty! Hubby had the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which was HUGE and excellent. Starter of tomato bruschetta was not so great, but not bad. The complementary limoncello cream at the end was a nice treat.. We would happily go back for the view!

We went there because we stayed at Fornacce din Racciano. We arrived around 21 when there were still some customers including one italian family with two babies. We had papardelle al cinghiale and some beef. Both of them were delicious. In the end they served us from the house with some lemoncello and cantuccini.

We had a lovely dinner here on our 30th wedding anniversary. The dinner was delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a little hard to find in the evening, but it was well worth the drive outside of town. It felt like we were off the tourist path.

We were treated to complimentary glasses of prosecco and limoncello. Ask for Antonio.
