I had reservations for this restaurant 3 weeks in advance of our trip on the advice of other reviewers. It was good advice! When we arrived there was a sign on the door letting folks know there was no seating available without a reservation. We knew we were in for a great night as soon as we met Lorenzo who treated us like family! He chose a wonderful white local San Gimignano wine for us to start. The eggplant pie was out of this world with layers of cheese and the best pesto I've ever had. I had pasta with wild mushrooms and truffles and it was fabulous. A friend ordered the old world pasta dish and it was incredible! Throughout the meal Lorenzo kept stopping by to bring us small dishes of other foods to try! My husband enjoyed the wild boar and sausage dish. We were too full to try the desserts but once again Lorenzo brought us a small sampling of some wonderful tiramisu and as we left he sent us on our way with some delicious pistachio biscotti! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
