A friendly hotel near to the train station but a longish walk to the Tower complex. Staff were friendly - especially Angela who was helpful with everything we needed to know and always cheerful. Room was comfortable, serviced every day. Interior was attractive. Continental breakfast plain but good quality. Reasonably priced. We would recommend it.

Room Tip: Quiet location so all rooms OK. Some seemed bigger and a few had a small balcony. No views.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you and provide advice on transport, etc. It was the best service we received during our entire Italian tour! In addition the rooms are spacious, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was quite a spread and the lounge area/coffee bar and free wifi very useful. It's remarkably cheap for the level of service provided. The hotel is a short walk from the station and close to the airport. About 30 mins walk to the Tower if you stroll along leisurely.

The hotel has a convenient position, close to the airport (5 short bus stations - linea rossa) and 3 minutes walk from the central station. It is located on a quited street, especially if the room has a back view, like ours.
Our double room had a moderate size and it was very nice. I don't know if all the rooms have terraces, but ours had one (room no. 108). The bed is ok, however to soft for my taste. The room was very clean; there was also a safe box in the closet.
The breakfast was basic, but good.
The staff was very friendly and ready to help you.
The old center of the town (starting with Corso Italia street) is close to the hotel - about 5,6 minutes walk.
I recommend the hotel for the location, service and price.

I stayed at the Hotel Alessandro della Spina for one night - my flight was leaving from Pisa the next morning. I was very pleased with the hotel - the staff was welcoming, warm, and friendly - I felt very comfortable there, and rooms were very clean. The location is great - a short walk from the train station and a short taxi ride to the airport. I got a great recommendation for dinner - the Galileo Ristorante (enjoyed good service from Vittorio.) I was at the end of my two-week trip to Italy so didn't have time to really explore Pisa, but look forward to returning. I would recommend this hotel - it is a good value.

Room Tip: Each room is named after a flower - so you can't go wrong!
