“Big Taste from a Tiny Panineria”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

We walked by L'Ostellino a couple of times and almost gave up. We found another restaurant with WiFi and realized we were just around the corner, so finished our wine and headed to the panineria. We were a little surprised when we walked in and saw how tiny it was. It is really, really small. I thought we would find a restaurant, but it is more of a deli. No tables, just counters along 2 walls with stools. The Panini were excellent and the wine is self serve at the honor bar. Just taste a few and pour the a glass of the one you like. If you are looking for sit down, this is not your place. If you are looking for a sandwich on wonderful freshly baked bread, freshly sliced meat and cheese at an incredibly reasonable price, then L'Ostellino fits the bill, a really small bill. Really, only a couple euro!

Great wee lace close to botanic gardens and leaning tower. Good price for panini and similar And good well priced wine. Give it a try and avoid the busy places near the monuments.

“Excelent "no restaurant".”
Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

Really nice and charming panineria. All ingredients are fresh, including the excelent bread. The price is really low (around 5 euros for panini) considering the quality and the quantity of the food. You also can drink a glass of good toscan wine for 3 euros. Thank you, all trip advisor reviewers for pointing out this wonderful place.

Went after a short visit of the city. Took a plate of different cheese and ham, with wine. Stuff was friendly, very italian place (noisy and joyful). 40 euros for two persons (with 4 glasses of wine)
