“Underated”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

We did not realize that Piazza houses the Tower that Leans, the Duomo and the Battisteiro. The town of Pisa border the Piazza which contains many places to eat and bars, the wall that contains the Piazza is a marvel.

“Half day trip”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

my family and I spent half day there, traveled from Florence in the morning and left in the afternoon. there aren't many things to do around. but the 3 major architectures inside Piazza dei Miracoli and tons of souvenir shops. but we still enjoy our time there, it was actually one of the best landmark we stopped! while we were waiting to get in the leaning tower, we spent quit amount of time taking "holding the leaning tower" pictures..there weren't much to do anyway might as well just entertain yourself with this since everyone is doing it.

“1/2 day trip to Pisa”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

We took 1/2 day trip to Pisa from Florence. This was our main ( and only ) sight to see in Pisa. It was a good time, and kid also enjoyed it. The area itself is very elegant in proportions and from different angles you can discover another excellent view.
Practicalities: from Pisa Centrale trains station just go stright all the time and in the end you will see tower like 300m on the left. It took appr. 25 minutes average pace of walking.

“A fantastic location with the Leaning Tower being the star attraction”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

The Piazza dei Miracoli is the home of the Leaning Tower but it is also home to the chief attractions within Pisa such as the Cathedral / Baptisery / Camposant (cemetery) and the Museum. Enough there to while away the whole day. Would recommend getting a combi ticket which includes Museum / Baptisery and Cemetery together.

“Amazing buildings surrounded by swarms of tourists!”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

there is a constant turnover of tourist buses which disgorge streams of passengers meekly following their leader bearing a flag on a pole or an umbrella! They seem to stay for less than an hour & are then on to the next tourist attraction in their buses. We chose to spend two whole days at the site, taking time to go into each of the buildings & museums. Once seen, never forgotten!
