We really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the Duomo site - going right back to roman and etruscan times. The range of artefacts on display is amazing and seeing some of the exquisite craftsmanship so close up is quite something. The building itself has undergone an extensive and very sympathetic restoration and is quite something to see in itself. The cloisters and walled garden are just beautiful.
