An interesting site given that the tower of Pisa is not straight but somehow when we use the phone camera we would tilt it to make it look straight with our instinct.

Here, it’s best to come before 10am as the crowd would start coming in and taking fun pictures would not be as easy.

Come with a Friend too as selfie would be challenging for cute pictures.

We took an excursion from the Queen Victoria and were glad we were on of the first buses to get here. The area continued to fill up with people making taking a photo without dozens of other people very difficult. When we left the bus parking are there were at least 18 buses there. The best thing to do is to arrive early.

Your visit will be along with hundreds of other tourists ticking off one of their bucket-list to-dos. They will photograph themselves ‘holding up’ the Tower, and that is fun to watch. But the buildings themselves are worth the visit for their enormity and ancient engineering as all these buildings are.
But take some time also to look at the city of Pisa which I has many beautiful aspects to it. One of the best ways to see it is to walk the city wall and view it from there. It is also a University city with plenty of students around, and of course places to eat. Worth staying a few days.

You don't quite believe the angle of lean of the tower until you see it with your own eyes. You need to book a time slot to go up the tower so you have to know when you definitely going to be there or wait a long time to do so. This is another UNESCO site and one of the wonders of the world. The Pisa trip from Florence is a must to cross off a bucket list item with only a 1/2 day excursion from another.

We took a day-trip from Florence to Pisa to see the Tower. We were glad we saw it, since it's such a famous attraction. I made the effort to climb to the top, where I enjoyed terrific views of the church next door, the city of Pisa, and the mountain tops in the distance. Of all the cultural attractions in and around Florence, I would consider this a low priority.

We visted Pisa on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. We arrived by coach from the Port. The walk from the car park was quite long but we go through quickly. All I can say is the sight of the tower and adjoining buildings where breath taking. We loved every minute. The details in the building where outstanding. Definitely visit again and well worth it

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Every ody has heard of it and has expectations, but the actual space was surprisingly cool. Really nice courtyard with beautiful buildings and the tower itself is one impressive than you would think. Could have done without the purveyors of fake watches and crap souveniers everywhere...

Try to go late afternoon, early evening when there are less tourists. It is floodlit and still looks amazing. Remember to go in the other buildings which are equally stunning.

I enjoyed my visit to this icon and was glad to check it off my bucket list! The whole plaza with the church, baptistery, and tower were beautiful! Despite my out-of-shape condition, I did climb to the top and really enjoyed the views, so don't let the 200+ steps deter you! You do have to buy a ticket for this and to climb the wall. The tower ticket gives entrance at a particular time, so when booking consider if you have to allow time to take your bags to a locker on the other side of the piazza, because you aren't allowed to take them up with you. It does still remain a marvel even today!
