I should have consulted tripadvisor before going to this place. 3 cokes and an icecream - euro 18.60 - I am utterly surprised that any-one even would consider taking that price. Not even a 5 star hotel would charge prices like this !!! DON'T GO THERE PERIOD !!!!

If you don't mind paying €5 for a simple coffee, then by all means go in. The staff is actually quite friendly but I overheard others complaining as well. I think there are separate prices for locals as there seemed to be a steady crowd of men coming in for a quick espresso.

This place is terrible and overpriced doesn't even begin to describe it. Drinks are €5 and food is €7 (we paid €17 for two cappuccinos and a focaccia). Prices are not clearly labelled anywhere, and when queried about the huge expense it was brushed off as added table service.

To top things off, the bill didn't call out our order but listed all items as "varie". Having seen several Carabinieri order drinks there, my guess is that they get the proper itemised receipts with normal prices and tourists get the dodgy ones with manually input prices.
These guys are skimming off the top.

Stay away and tell everyone else.

Very clever set up close to Pisa station. Reasonable looking exterior. Staff seem friendly. A couple of men sitting in the bar, seemingly customers. But all designed to extract as much money as possible from unsuspecting tourists. Take binoculars if you want to read the price list. Be prepared for a big shock when you pay. So if you are reading this BEFORE you visit, give yourself a pat on the back; you'll have saved at least EU10 as you'll avoid this despicable place. For people like me, wiser next time and mustn't let it detract too much from the rest of my fantastic Italy experiences.

Dropped in for a cup of coffee. Ordered at the bar -one macciatto and one capaccino. We were told to sit down. The coffee eventually arrived (the place was not busy). Went to the bar to pay Eur 8.50 - when I complained that this order normally costs Eur2.20 I was told that the extra cost was for the table service that I didn't ask for.

Beware
