“Try the Cecine”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Cecine is a starter made from chickpeas and is the speciality of the house. The Pizzas are good and the beer even better. Good value for money but get there early as it's very popular.

“Great pizzas and cheap!”
Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

Ordered pizza and cannelloni plus two teas.

Pizza was really really good! Best we have had in Italy so far.

Tea was a bit odd, so would recommend against ordering it.

All in all, only 19 euros for a great meal very close to leaning tower of pisa!

“Best pizza”
Reviewed December 23, 2013

Really good italian pizza meal. Fairly small and little room but creates a good atmosphere. Good lasagna and other starters. Always packed with plenty waiting for take aways.

“Al Bagno Di Nerone, Pisa, June 2013.”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Great pizza and service here. Wasn't too busy despite being 2 minutes away from the Leaning Tower. I'd recommend this place.

“Away from the crowds”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

The historic buildings in Pisa have become like flames to moths, attracting thousands of visitors at a time. In sweltering heat and lured by paid lackeys, restaurants around the Duomo are probably OK but we walked just a hundred metres or 2 further to find this authentic, competitive and friendly pizzeria, serving great food to local people. It is so much nicer to eat with locals than loads of other tourists as well as in a less frenetic atmosphere. The loo is also spotlessly clean - always a recommendation.
