My girlfriends and I rented an apartment in Lucca and decided on our last night to have a bonafide Italian meal. Although the restaurant sounds french and is very much fashioned in french decor, the food is true Italian, but with a very interesting take. We had the exotic salad to start that was superb and the pastas we all great. i had a strawberry and champagne ravioli that tasted so rich and fruity. It sounded a bit odd at first, but it really worked. The greatest part of the restaurant, though, was Luis, the owner. He is such a fun and warm spirit and he just brings so much energy and warmth to the evening and the meal. I would go back again just to see him. He made our evening that much more special.
