This was a truly unique experience. The worst part was the drain that made noises and stank all night and then poo came out of the plug hole in the shower. The hosts were extremely friendly but very intense.

The apartment and rooms were spotlessly clean. No key was given so we weren't able to come and go as we pleased. The room I stayed in was full of doll witches. This gave it a very strange creepy atmosphere. Ultimately I found it difficult to relax as there wasn't much privacy.

If you reserved in a bed and breakfast named l'ora delle Streghe, it's logical to find witches dolls..... Noise.... Impossible..... The rooms are all internal and far for the streets. The windows are dotated of thermical and isolated glasses. Maybe the witches are transported you in another world ? Mister ....after reserve one accommodation, look the photos. The witches are my pride, i don 't hidden in my pictures. Best regards.

What can I say? The location is good, the owner's mother is indeed sweet, the decor is kitschy. On the other hand, the room was small (and the fact that there was a second floor accessible up a spiral staircase, didn't add to my solo traveller comfort), the towels were scratchy, I wasn't given keys so couldn't come and go independently, and the B&B is hard to find within the building. I'm not saying it was a bad experience, but it didn't live up to my expectations based on other more enthusiastic reviews.

This old woman it's very indisponent guest, she's was arrived 4 hours before the check in..... No problem, my mother stay at home and have open the door, she was accommodate in the room and after, without any advise, she 'šo was exit.... Also if shall give the keys, it's impossible, because this woman was exit without advise. My structure it's a bed an breakfast, and dinner into the room not is alloweed, but this woman are old and i have permitted to eat your dinner in the evening into the room.the next day when he leaves the room, i have found the wc full of..... Very disgusting...... Awful person, i hope the next week in italy, this madame was in a five stars hotel, but surely she found imperfections. The towels not scratchy because we have a professional laundry for wash and dry towels and another dotations of any room. Persons negatives and frustrated.... Stay away of my home !!this old miss better way in a villa for old persons, not in a gothic b&b .

This small B&B is in a great location. Its has no exterior signs and is up a couple of levels in a building block. You need to be buzzed in. The interior is very funky to say the least but very clean and homely. The owner, her mother and daughter run the place and make you feel welcome. Also the resident cat wants to show lots of affection.
Nice and quiet. The breakfast was adequate in that almost everything was single prepackaged.

I booked this b&b through booking.com for just one night in September. The lady, a seventy years old woman, mother of the b&b owner, welcomed me at 8 pm with Italian sweetness and elegance. My room was really clean and slept on an excellent bed. What to say about breakfast? You will be offered with fresh orange juice, homemade cookies, cakes, fruit but also salads. What you like is what you get. I could not rate less than five this place, it is really comfortable and well based if you have to ship to Sardinia.

Felt at home during a short stay. A very welcoming host.
A good place to stay especially if waiting for ferry crossings from the Livorno harbour.
Sig Dal Cantio goes to great lengths to ensure a comfortable stay.
