“What a day”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

Doesn't get any better. Dany made it a memoriable day. He was right on time, had a fantastic mini van and we were off ot Pisa before all the the other busses from our ship. Hit the backside of the Leaning Tower for early morning photos. He got us tickets for the climb up the tower... (not to be missed) and then off to Florence. Can't say enough for being in a small van. He got us in ahead of the massive crowds to see David while other waited.

Give it a 100% must do.

“Wonderful day for our family!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Our family of 12 was traveling on a cruise and booked a day tour of Pisa and Florence through Tuscanheart. Dany and Teresa were waiting for us when the ship docked. We divided into 2 comfortable vans for the drive to Pisa. Both vans were thrilled with our driver/guides. They were well-informed, engaging, friendly. Their english was excellent, too, and they clearly knew their way around! We started our day at Pisa and arrived in perfect time to be able to climb to the top before it got crowded. Dany/Teresa gave us enough time to see what we wanted there, but kept us on enough of a schedule so we wouldn't miss the rest of what we wanted to see in Florence. Arriving in Florence, we stopped for a good photo of the city below. All along the way, they provided us with some info about the area. SO glad to have a driver to navigate this city, which was crowded, but having the flexibility of our own drivers, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go. They dropped us near the center of Florence and gave us a few options for where to visit and told us our meeting point afterwards. Our family split up to explore the city a bit and met them back at our designated point before heading to lunch. LUNCH!! We were taken to a wonderful family restaurant that we NEVER would have found on our own! Off the beaten path a bit and DELICIOUS! Met up again after lunch to go to the Accademia to see David. Teresa took care of getting our tickets so we could avoid a long line. They met us outside after we were finished and they took us to THE BEST gelato in all of italy. Yum. Still thinking about the chocolate with the swirl of Nutella in it....
We were exhausted and all so thrilled with our perfect visit to Florence/Pisa. We wish we had a Dany/Teresa in every port we visited. You will not be disappointed if you use this service! We can't wait til we make a return visit to Italy, so we can call us Tuscan Heart again and explore some more of the region.

“Awestruck with the service”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

We had the most fabulous guide anyone could ever ask for..Dany was excellent, He was well informed, very kind, adapted to our schedule, showed us all things on our itineray and then some. English was excellent, loved chatting to our 10 yrs old daughter. We took one bus tour when we stopped in France, and all other tours were private...3 ports with Dany's company...I will never , NEVER, do another bus tour again.....I would take Dany all over the world with me if he would join us!! Thanks again Dany, and Tuscanheart....job very well done! Roxanne, Derek, Kaitlyn from Newfoundland, Canada

“Fabulous Day”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

You could not have a better guide then Dany. He is friendly, funny informative, knowledgeable & totally flexible with regard to pleasing the client. Dany met us in Livorno dockside as we were on a cruise ship & we had an early start with first stop Pisa, thus avoiding the crowds. The Leaning Tower is a must! Such a strange sensation being inside on an unlevel surface. The view at the top is brilliant. We discussed options of where else to visit & decided on Lucca, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's definitely worth visiting. Dany offered us a visit to a winery in Tuscany, which was an amazing experience. The lady who showed us around knew everything there is to know about wine making & the winery itself dates back hundreds of years.

“Like being taken around by a friend, not a tour company”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

You could not have a better guide then Dany. He is friendly, funny informative etc. Not only does he know everything about Tuscany and Cinque Terre, but he is presents everything in an enjoyable way. Moreover, his English is almost flawless and very easy to understand. He helped us plan a totally visit when we stopped at Livorno as our Port of Call. We were with our 3 kids and he got us to Pisa where we climbed the tower and than to Cinque Terre (a combo the cruise lines dont even come close to offering). If you want something decidedly different than one of those giant bus tours and want to feel like you are being taken around with a friend or relative, Dany is your man.
