We spent two nights at this fabulous property . When I say fabulous it is also an understatement .
We travel a lot and stay at some of the best properties so it takes quite a bit to impress us , I admit we were impressed . When I rate hotels I take 2 things into consideration: the property itself and the service . Sometimes you find amazing properties but the service doesn’t measure up , at this four seasons they excelled at both . I am even more pleased because I love this exclusive chains although I’m not always kind with my reviews of them .
I won’t go into what I liked , it would be too long : the gardens, pool , outdoor lounge , restaurants....room , lobby etc . All 10/10 .
The only thing I didn’t like is the AC in the room which I forgot to highlight at check out .
We were in Parlour Suite 112 I believe . The view is superb and the space is huge . There’s a very long corridor leading past the bathroom and dressing room to the bedroom . This whole area doesn’t have any AC so the grills from the bedroom struggle to keep the whole space cooled and it was a very warm day .
One other small complain , we asked if we could smoke a cigar by the pool they said absolutely. We did that 1st day . Came back the following day the pool was more crowded so lit up our expensive Cuban cigars , asked for ashtray , 15 minutes later the waitress came to tell us that guests were complaining . It would have been entirely our right to keep them lit up but out of respect for other guests we obliged immediately . The point is you don’t make rules as you go along . For example , the loud juke box by the bar annoyed me , next time should I complain that I want it turned off ?
Otherwise loved the experience . Coming back very soon .
