Without doubt the Four Seasons Hotel Florence is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Five stars just don’t do it justice – it is way beyond any other five star hotel I’ve stayed at before. Set right in the heart of Florence, it is brilliantly located to explore this stunning city and yet tucked away with 11 acres of its own beautiful gardens which are an art gallery themselves!
The rooms in the hotel are simply breathtaking. The old chapel which we were fortunate enough to dine in one evening is just the most beautiful room I’ve seen. Our bedroom was spacious and luxurious with a huge bathroom and twin sinks, a massive bed and blackout blinds and shutters on the windows which made for an extremely peaceful night’s sleep. We stayed at the beginning of April when the weather was mixed, but we still managed a dip in the outdoor pool and a taste of the gorgeous spa facilities. I can imagine in the height of summer these facilities really come into their own and the atmosphere around the pool would be fantastic. As it was, we had the place to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed pretending we were in our own gardens!
The most impressive feature of the Four Seasons however, is its staff. Without exception, every single person we were fortunate enough to meet really cared that our stay was the most comfortable and relaxing it could possibly be. They seemed to intuitively know if you needed something, almost before you’d realised it yourself. By the end of our short stay they felt like friends.
There’s so much I could say about this hotel – it just exceeded all our expectations and made our stay in Florence truly unforgettable. Hopefully one day we can return – the sooner the better!

I have stayed in more than 20 Four Seasons Hotel around the world, but this one beats all of it, in terms of magnificence of property (renovated old palazzio) , a perfect balance of urban/report comfort within 10-15 minute walking distance of city center. Food, service, room, cleaning service, front desk, concierge, all perfect.

We stopped by the Four Seasons for cocktails and we wished we had had more time to stay longer or visit again. The cocktails were great fun, the setting beautiful and the service outstanding.
A vocalist performed some beautiful songs, the serving team bought endless nibbles including some warm Parmesan parcels with a pear sauce that were incredible.
Our server (Karen I think his name was) was so polite, friendly and kind in recommending places we might with to try for dinner.
We certainly plan to visit again.

The Four Seasons Firenze is a cut above. It’s a luxurious oasis in the midst of one of Europe’s most charming cities. The rooms, both guest and public, are exquisitely decorated. The staff is pleasant and professional and the food is excellent. It’s a little bit distant from the main shopping and touristy areas, but not too far to be inconvenient

The Four Seasons in Florence is stunning. You can spend the better part of a morning walking around the hotel , looking up.
Check in, room layout, bathroom, cleanliness during our stay was perfect. Every team member we interacted with at the hotel was very friendly, very informative and was always keen to assist. Paul at the concierge desk was very helpful.
The hotel has a great bar, garden and spa. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main attractions in the city.
Definitely recommend the Four Seasons for an excellent stay.
