This place is great - friendly, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated too. I love coming home and turning the key in the lock of the building and feeling like I am home. So much nicer than walking past a tired receptionist or night porter and that awkward feeling of whether you should say hello - it's simply coming home! Loved the high ceilings and wooden furniture. And, another important thing for me, the wifi works without a problem. I hate it when the wifi doesn't work in hotels. I like the location, it took me 10 mins to stroll to ponte vecchio. Florence can be noisy at night, it's nice to be in a quiet area

Room Tip: The hotel is STRICTLY non-smoking, which, even thought i am a smoker, I really appreciate, and prefe...

We had two large double rooms which were really clean and spacious with lots of wardrobe space, en-suite shower/toilet.The rooms have aircon/heating installed which is available to use if too cold or too warm. The breakfast is of a self serve buffet style which you eat in your room due to the lack of a dining room. This system although not ideal, seems to work alright, but there is nothing cooked or warm available. The establishment is situated on a bus route into the centre of the city, but we found it ok to walk there even though it takes a good half an hour to do so, so if you don't like walking this may not be ideal for you.
Overall, this B&B offered great value and very helpful and friendly owners and I would recommend it to couples and families alike .

I and my wife stayed for a couple of nights over a weekend in this well managed B&B. Stefano and Lorenzo both are cordial, and make you feel at home. They were even kind enough to leave us the main door key so that we can pull out our luggage while they are not around. The rooms (and the toilets) have their walls filled with simple and subtle paintings and artwork, which really lifts your mood after a tiring day of walk (which is to be expected in Firenze). The breakfast was abundant, and we really appreciated the fact that we could make tea/coffee any time of the day by ourselves. The location is quite good, with a bus stop right next to the B&B, but anyway Firenze is a place where you can get from one any point to any by walk. Would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone looking to spend a carefree vacation in a budget accommodation.

nice and tidy room! the bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed the fact that you can make your free coffee/tea/camomile during all day, because there is a kettle ready to be used with all the selections. maybe the only thing the toilet was too small. anyway we enjoyed a lot and we had no problem.

Brothers Boni generate the atmosphere of home comfort and cleanness. It's slightly ascetic traditional interior but with everything necessary. I regret that it was November and too cold to drink a bottle of wine on our room garden balcony. You have to be ready for long return walking that is healthy after substantial dinner. The historical centre of Firenze is on 20-30 min of walking. You can use a bus as a stop is straight on few steps of front door.

My first time staying at 1900 Artevita and I will surely be back. In fact within my 2 week stay in Italy I stayed 4 nights and then returned for my last 2 nights in Firenze. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the overall warm feeling made you feel like you are at home immediately. The breakfast spread provided a huge selection and the little square and restaurants in the area were all good and very local. Plus, you are only a few steps from the Arno and Parco di Casine, which provides a lovely stroll to the center. For the person who prefers some guidance, likes to explore on their own and also pretend for a short time that you are living in Firenze, this is the perfect fit.
