We were here for the butter chicken and the florentine steak. No complains about the food. Chicken was very tender and the steak was well seasoned and tasty. In terms of quality, it's one of the best meals we have had in Italy.
We also tried the house cake which was the meringue with small strawberries. Please bear in mind these are it strawberries cut small but really whole strawberries about the size one phalanx of your little finger. Never seen these before. The cake seems like ice cream between layers of meringue. Very delicious.
So why 4 stars? Because the food is a bit costly I feel. You could get similar fare for probably slightly cheaper elsewhere. We paid 62 for lunch and we didn't have wine. We also had to pay a $3 cover charge per pax which is not a norm elsewhere.
Overall, if it's your first time in florence, come here for the chicken and dessert. It's worth a try but i wouldn't come back twice in the same trip because there are too many fabulous restaurants in florence to try at better prices!
