This was by far one of the best meals I had during my week long stay in Italy. I was fortunate enough to arrive in Florence the day the restaurant reopened after their summer break. The interior of the restaurant is really old school and they obviously have hosted some celebs in the past. Seating here is communal, so you need to make an effort to get to know your neighbors. As a solo traveler I was at a disadvantage because I couldn't order more items off the menu. But I knew exactly what I was getting before I came here. The tortino di carciofi (artichoke omelet tart) and the pollo al burro (butter chicken). OMG!!! Both dishes were revolutionary. It's hard to describe the flavors. You just need to go and try it. Dessert was a merengue cake, which also was good. The food here is worth every Euro you spend. I highly recommend anyone to visit this place. And be sure to make a reservation!
