Description: DUE FRATELLINI was born in 1875 in the historical center of Florence. Since then, it has maintained the old tradition of preparing sandwiches , with top-quality Tuscan products combined with an excellent glass of wine. it's the proverbial hole-in-the-wall, a doorway about six feet deep with rows of wine bottles against the back wall behind the counter. The name means “little brothers” and behind the counter you will always find two guys . This hole-in-the-wall has been in business since 1875 , and since then continues this incredible family tradition". The ingredients of our sandwiches and our wines come from "small " Tuscan producers who share our passion and love for quality. Our winery has a history and traditions that have been passed on since 1875, we try to carry it on selecting the best products, such as Tuscan Ham, the "Finocchiona", Wild Boar Salami , Cured pork back fat , Pecorino "Cheese" or the one with truffle , GreenSauce, tuscan Roast pig and of course Tuscan bread.

Right in the heart of Florence is this hole-in-the-wall, no, make that a niche-in-the-wall sandwich shop. The two owners are as great as their sandwiches and wine. Sandwiches are made while you wait with delicious fresh bread. Order by number from the menu on the wall. Eat standing in the street or take your sandwich with you. Sandwiches are 2.5 Euro and the most expensive wine is 5 Euro.

You could easily miss this great food bar. So glad we didn't the sandwich was really tasty and good value. Not many people sitting in the street as it was damp and cold but lots of customers. An experience not to be missed.

We went to three countries and ate countless meals, and this simple, super cheap one in Florence is one of the most memorable. We enjoyed two separate lunches here (had to go back) -- loved the goat cheese and peppered salami sandwich, as well as the one that involves truffle cream. The chianti is cheap and delicious. You just order and stand there and perch/eat on the curb. It's fantastic. Trying to recreate these at home but the bread was so great, I am not sure how I can do it! Lunch for two people is 4 euros.

Great place to go for lunch and grab an amazing panino. Good prices. Only thing is the line can get a little long during the day. Worth the wait!
