We went on the recommendation of a colleague when we were in town for our honeymoon. I didn't know much about the phenomenon called "steak Fiorentina" when we decided to go - but I was fully educated by the time we left! Service was wonderful and attentive, and they made space for us without reservations.
The husband ordered the Fiorentina and did his best to work thru what must have been 2 pounds of meat and he said it was excellent. Charred perfectly and cooked expertly. I went the pasta route and it was homemade and mouthwatering. I ate the whole thing. We started with a charred kale appetizer that was awesome and ended with a seasonal 'grape cake' that finished the meal perfectly. And not to forget the local wine from the Antinori label of which they share a connected history.
I am so glad we didn't miss this gem, and you will be too!
