We were in Italy for 2 whole weeks and absolutely loved the hotel apartments, although there is no food service as such, there is somebody to clean the apartments everyday. The location ain't that bad aswell with a gelato and a bakery shop right infront and a balcony to enjoy the good weather. The bus stand is infront of the building so no need of much walking to get to the main attractions of Florence, nor is it that far from the airport. Overall its a good stay!

Stayed here for 2nights and this hotel stay was the worst of our 18day trip. The room is extremely loud with a major road right in front. The bed is two smaller beds pushed together and was uncomfortable. The interior is dated and reflective of a 2star motel. It does have a kitchen but who wants to cook on vacation when pizza and gelato is so good and cheap. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again. Price for the stay is cheap but I guess you pay for what you get.

The hotel was kind of away from the center of town, but we were just spending one night there before we hit the town in the morning. The neighborhood looked a bit dodgy...The room was huge and well designed, with a kitchenette complete with pots, pans, and utensils. Everything was very clean. The door, however, didn't have an inside chain lock. The courtyard with the little patio tables was a nice touch. As a bonus, parking was free!

The only thing was, the wifi was down. The front desk guy said Sundays and Mondays were bad for internet in Italy?!

We stayed at the Quadra Key residence one night, because we wanted to be near the airport. There are many hotels near the Florence airport, choose another one. The room was shabby, and the bed was uncomfortable. It was a hot night and the clerk could not get the air conditioner to work. But there was apparently no other room to move us to, and it was too late to move to another hotel. We spent a very uncomfortable night! There is no shuttle to the airport, so be prepared to take a taxi or a city bus. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

First off where was the kettle? Kitchen in apartment and everything but a kettle.
Great little location and such friendly staff.
A number 22 bus for 1 euro (tickets from hotel or a tobacconist) into the city in about 10mins. Run until midnight.
Best food recommendations for our stay in Italy from owner (Mi Amor - 5mins walk away)
Big clean rooms, plenty of leaflets at reception to plan for excursions plus a supermarket 2 min walk for cheap food/water.
No safe in room for valuables.
In all a good place to stay especially for a family.

We got a two bedroom apartment for a family of five. Overall the apartment was spacious and clean.

The Excellent - The apartments are very affordable as compared to getting two/three hotel rooms for a larger group of people. We love to stay together as a family, so it helped more. The apartment had a small kitchen with cookware and utensils and a mid sized refrigerator. The location offered parking (paid) and access to the the city was very convenient with a bus dropping you right by Duomo that starts right from front of the Hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful and guided us nicely with everything.

The Average - The cookware and utensils seemed old. There is just one bathroom per apartment which is tiny bit inconvenient.

The Bad - The wifi was limited to the corridors. We did not get any signal in the apartment and I heard the same complaint from other people. They do not offer breakfast and there arent many eating options around. So you are better of having all your meals in the city.

But overall, we felt it was a good choice. The place is peaceful and safe, and it was extremely convenient for all of us.

Room Tip: Rooms do not offer a view, so any rooms are fine. Building B has direct elevator access from the par...

We had an apartment here which was really good for a family, a double bed room with a separate lounge area with a sofa bed. Decent kitchen and dining table too. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. There is a supermarket right outside the hotel too so that was very convenient. The parking is secure too. The hotel is a little outside of town in a residential location but there is a direct bus from very near the hotel direct to the Duomo. Tickets are available at the hotel desk which was very helpful. There was the option to order a basic breakfast which was the only let down - it turned out to be expensive for what we had (tiny cups of juice, tiny cups of cold coffee).
