Good value for money . We paid about 90 pounds per night from hotel.com with voucher code.Although it is about 10 minutes bus ride to city centre , u can catch bus 22 outside the hotel . Breakfast is all right but don't eat the strawberry mix with watermealon and grapes.

I used points to book this hotel and overall was very pleased. Although the hotel is located 3 to 4 miles from central Florence, it is easily accessible from the public bus. The stop is directly in front of the hotel and the front desk can provide you with the bus tickets which run ~1.20 euros. Something to note – when using public transportation in Florence, make sure to validate your bus ticket as soon as you get on the bus, otherwise you can incur large fines of upto ~50 euros. Inside the hotel, the overall service was good, the rooms were adequately sized, clean and very modern. The surrounding area appeared to be safe and is directly across a beautiful building and park, very friendly for families and children. Also, the hotel provides a self laundry service which costs 5 euros per load (wash or dry) – this is great for people traveling light and needing to do a clean in between multiple city stops.

We can't speak highly enough of this hotel. The service we received was exceptional, particularly from Enrica.
We had our luggage damaged at the Airport and Enrica quickly (and proactively!) called the airline, suggested some luggage shops and the next day faxed through all the documenatation which the airline required. They even disposed of the broken luggage for us.
The room was well layed out and modern, the shower was excellent and the small computer room in the lobby with free internet access, printer and fax incredibly handy.

The location was excellent, a really short bus trip to the city centre, but far enough from the city commotion. It was also a very cheap taxi ride to the Airport due to its vicinity.
We did not experience this level of service elsewhere on our 6 week trip around Europe and will definately be back.

We stayed three nights while visiting Florence before a cruise. We got a AAA rate which included breakfast. The staff spoke excellent English and they were very helpful with getting taxi, parking, meals, or anything you needed--simply wonderful. Meals were exceptional with a great selection and a large dining area with bar adjacent for drinks in the evening. Parking is in an underground garage and very secure.

I would definitely stay here again. In fact I hope to visit again since Florence was our absolute favorite stop during a three-week tour of Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Israel.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the park across the street

Service: A++
Virgil at the guest services desk was indeed top-notch. Extremely helpful and friendly even after working long shifts. His service and attitude are why I give this hotel a top rank, because employees like him make the experience memorable. Massimo was also great in our opinion, just a bit quieter. But both employees gladly called taxis for us, and made reservations at hotels or museums upon request. Virgil recommended a great sightseeing route for us starting from Piazza Michelangelo and ending at the train station. Massimo helped me mail out postcards before we headed to the airport. We were very very pleased with the service we received at this hotel.
Location: A-
We drove to Florence from Tuscany in a rental car, so this is a great hotel if you're driving in to town. It's outside of the city center, so there's no worries about any fines associated with non-residents driving in the city resident zones. We drove in Friday evening and rang the buzzer to open the gate to park in the garage. It's a very spacious garage for more than 100 cars which was a welcome relief after trying to park in other cities. Florence was our last city, and a car actually a hindrance in this town, so we dropped the car off at the airport the next day after a quick and easy drive. Then we took a 5 euro shuttle to the center of town for sightseeing.
Getting to and from the hotel via bus or taxi is also convenient. The Bus Stop for #22 from town will stop about a block away from this hotel while the Bus Stop #22 to town is only a block and a half away. Taxi rides can be requested from the front desk without any problems, costing between 15-20 euros to the city center and 10-15 euros to the airport.
Amenities: A
The hotel has a fitness center, a fitness kit that you can borrow and use in your room, a 24 hour business center with printers, books on display in the lobby that you can borrow, a laundry and ironing room that uses tokens you purchase from guest services, and a pantry where you can get snacks and microwaveable meals. If only there was space for a pool, that would make this the ultimate launch point for a Florentine vacation! The breakfast buffet had the normal fare of eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread and pastries. As Hilton diamond members, we took advantage of this benefit each morning before heading to town on the #22 for daily sightseeing. The two sets of elevators are quick and big enough for about four people with rolling carry-on bags. Across the street is a nice park for a jog/stroll or for laying out under the sun.
Room: A+
The room is very modern and the lighting is great. There is no carpet in the rooms so the floors are very clean and swept every day. They have a mechanical sunshade to keep the room nice and dark while you sleep. The hotel is far enough away from main thoroughfares to not carry street sound to your room. Also, their TV has a built in wake up call that turns on and gets gradually louder in the morning. The room also includes robes to use during your visit, which was a pleasant surprise to us. The A/C works well and the internet connection was fast and reliable (free to Hilton Diamond members, not sure of the price to non-members).
Summary: A
Very happy with our stay here. Thanks again to the Guest Services staff for making our trip to Florence enjoyable and comfortable!

We stayed here with Hilton points, and found it to be a pretty good value. I disagree with the last post about taking an hour to ride the bus into town. It took us less than 10 minutes, 20 during evening rush, and you pick up the bus two blocks behind the hotel. And the location is great for getting to the airport quickly the next morning - maybe one mile at the most. Rooms are very modern and well appointed. Our only problem was with Massimo, one of the front desk employees. He always seemed like he had been at work too long, as he was never friendly and did not want to go out of his way to help or answer questions in English. It got so bad by the second day, that we just waited to talk to the other clerk (guy with glasses - had five letters in his name) who was great and always seemed to want to help!

It's a good hotel, just in a very bad location. It may take up to 1 hour to get to the center of town by bus. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

I have a single complaint though, the service i got while eating here dinner was very rude. The waitress was not kind and treated us very bad.

I would recommend to stay here if the price is low as i paid for it 93EU per night for a couple. But just STAY AWAY FROM THE RESTAURANT!
