In an expensive city as Florence, this is a great value for Money, since for the same and even much more Money you can have simple hotel room with not even a fridge ! We asked for a 2-persons apartment with street view and we got it. Our apartment , overlooking the piazza Puccini, was extremely comfortable, with antique furnishing, big kitchen with fridge, Electric rings, micro wave, lots of pots and pans, Electric kettle, ceffee and sugar provided. Extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe, the bathroom was very pretty and very clean !.Beautiful colors, comfort, nice neighbourhood with a big supermarket in 5 min. and smaller closer, nice bakery nearby, fruitmarket at 40 m, bus stop to center and train station in 100 m.(( 10 min. ride). The man who checked us in was nice and answered our questions and told us that he would be at our disposal any time we rung the bell. Safe area and easy to find. Getting off the bus at Piazza Puccini just look opposite and you will s ee this stone House . We were 100% satisfied by our stay there and strongly reccommend ! (( there was no cleaning service but all detergents were provided for cleaning , a shower jell and a kitchen towel were missing but not a big issue ))

+ Good location, easy access to the public transport, very good supermarket & morning fruit&vegetables market (fresh!) close to the villa.....having the little kitchen, you have possibility to prepare a coffee, tea, eggs, salads by yourself in the morning or for a late dinner (if any!) Nice owner - even we have never met him, only spoke on phone with him....he helped us with booking a taxi very earlier in the morning for airport.... Anyway, good ratio price/services.

- Even on the site it is written that every 3 days, it is made a cleaning for the apartment and change the sheets&towels, this is not happened when we stayed there 5 days in a row! Very bad WiFi connection! don't relay on it.

With a reservation made through booking.com two weeks before arrival, we came to Villa Lucrezia and they forced us to leave, because they did not have our reservation because of some technical problems with their reservation system. We showed them printed reservation, but for them, it was not enough. Finally, they found our reservation, but we had to leave because they were fully booked that day. Situations like this should never happen in solid hotels. Shame!!!!

We stayed here May 24-29. The apartment is spacious, spanking new, colorful and convenient. The double bed is comfy, the sofa also pulls out to a comfy bed. The 4 burner gas stove is great--the vessels were greasy--i bring my own set, no probs there for me. Bus 17, 29, 35 all go to train station. We had a carte agile loaded with 20 euros which was good for 20 rides--we thought it could be used by 2 people but they have changed the rules a few months ago. So we gave the loaded card to the owner for passing on. Bus 17 goes on to San Marco, near Accademia to see David. From where we alight for the station, C1, C2 are available to go to Uffizi etc. These facts are available from the bus map but the owner does not know; he also did not guide well as to where the supermercati is. We had earlier booked 4 nights and later added on another night at their highest priced apt. He gave us the original apt we had booked for all 5 nights and charged the extra amount as well. Little annoyed about that but still the overall vibe of the apt, the lovely roses in the gated compound , the classy decor has made us give a 5 star rating

Loved this hotel. A little difficult to find. Go to the corner of the piazza and cross the street. You have to go to the gate and ring the manager to let you in. Manger was extremely friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well. The room was large bright colorful with awesome air conditioning. We had lunch at the street stand in the piazza, local specialty was delicious.
