I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence. The rooms were very spacious and clean (loved the wooden floors). It was also within close walking distance to the train terminal (about a 5 minute walk). The hotel staff, Simone and Christian, were very helpful in giving directions and recommending restaurants which were very good value and in the neighborhood. My family and I really liked walking to the nearby Central Market where there's hundreds of stalls and fantastic foodstuffs in the main building. It's close to almost everything. I'm going to stay there again when in Florence.

Oh dear, have stayed at hotels all over the world but this is by far the worst. When we arrived staff were all arguing with one another and we were brushed to the side. After a long wait we were finally checked in. I did check hotel had an elevator before booking but didn't realise it was only up to the hotel. We then had to cart our cases up a flight of winding stairs and we are not so young nor fit!
Room has two single beds, smallest singles I have ever seen.....and we are quite small. Made for some very uncomfortable nights. Room had airconditioner but no control. We had to open window every night and eaten alive with mozzies. We were covered in bites.Noise was also a huge
problem. Chair in room was broken and when my husband leaned back into it the back completely broke off. He reported it too staff and he got the impression they were not happy about it.
On the plus side clean sheets everyday, thank you cleaning staff

I would rate this hotel a 0, but 1 is the lowest.

Pros:
Hotel is actually a good location and the positives are the cleaning staff. They did a great job.

Cons:
Front desk staff are all grumpy and fairly oblivious to the issues.

1) The temperature of the room was well over 80 degrees due to lack of air conditioning.
2) Their breakfast was way too expensive for 10 euro. It was a bunch of packaged products. Your best bet is to leave the hotel for food.
3) Due to lack of air conditioning we had to open the windows. The road noise and bus traffic all night were unbearable.
4) Mainly the staff are generally not friendly.

I would highly recommend other places in Florence.
We were there on a Wednesday and Thursday night and simply asked for the air conditioning to be turned on as the room was very hot. We were able to open the doors but the street traffic was unbearable.

Three of us stayed in a large room with a balcony for 3 nights. The room was large and clean. The location was perfect. A quick walk to the Duomo and the train station was on the next block over. The rooftop deck was a lovely addition. It is not open after dark but that was fine. Incredible views of Florence from the rooftop deck! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from four nights at Annabella Hotel , excellent location for station , we had room 33 which was large ( compared with that of our parents who stayed in another three star hotel nearby) , had a balcony , there wasn't a view but Florence was so busy and it was nice to come back on an afternoon and open the doors and let the fresh air in . We found the room to be V clean, there was a TV but no programmes in English ( the same in parents hotel ) , no safe or tea and coffee facilities in the room but what would make us stay there again was the roof terrace, you could see for miles , great to take your own drinks up on an evening and enjoy the view . Hopefully we will be back soon .

The hotel occupies what appeared to be a residential building. It's a small hotel but the room we stayed in was good size and clean. The hotel is two minutes away from the railway station which I usually avoid but the area is absolutely fine and most importantly it takes a five minute walk to reach the Duomo and the centre. I would stay there again if I went back to Florence and have already recommended the hotel to friends.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. After traveling all around Italy, it quickly became apparent that the service and quality here were far better compared to many of the other places we have stayed. Very happy and would definitely recommend.
