This was a great place to stay right in the heart of old Florence! Enjoyed a beautiful vacation here with my partner for 6 nights.
Walking distance from everything you want to see, close to a supermarket and of course plenty of restaurants and cafes. Right in front of a medieval church! Not on a busy street.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator but we did not mind. 3rd floor means more light and a charming little terrace for breakfast!
Kitchen had everything we needed and the whole apartment was charming.
Good wifi internet connection.
Both the master bed and the extra futon bed in the living room were comfortable. After a couple of nights in the main bedroom we choose to sleep in the living room because from the living room we could not hear the noise coming from the street (not to noisy, just moving to the living room removed the noise completely). There was also a cute little bedroom on a small second floor/mezzanine with a very comfy single bed (good for nap!)
Nice owner gave us a good welcome with explanations on how to use the gas stove, lock the front door, control the heating, etc.
Only complaint is the hot water is limited. So quick showers are a necessity unless you want to take a cold shower. Might not be such an issue in the summer when it get pretty hot in Florence.

First the good stuff:
The flat is in an amazing location as its 5 minutes from Michelangelo's David, 5 from the Duomo and 15 from the central train station. There are wonderful eateries and bars in close vicinity. You couldn't get any better.
The flat is very cosy and characterful with gorgeous wooden beams and lovely cosy rooms.
Some downsides:
The church bells nearby tolling are a pain. I'm a light sleeper and really suffered without being able to get a great nights sleep. The 6am toll was particularly painful. On the other hand, my boyfriend slept through.
Secondly, the shower is tiny and the hot water is rather hit and miss. There was one cold shower on our four night stay at least.
Having said all that, this is a quaint and character full flat if you are able to forgo some creature comforts. Given the location, it's great value for money.
