“Superb hotel that was a pleasure to stay in...”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Following our last two Italian cities (Venice and Rome), this is by far our most favourite in Florence. We again had one night of accommodation as part of our Trafalgar tours and were very pleasantly surprised when we got there. The hotel had a modern exterior look but we didnt want to get our hopes up just yet. Thankfully, the interiors did not disappoint..

The amneties were fantastic and the beds were some of the most comfortable ones we had since our tour began. After we checked in, we started looking on TripAdvisor for places to eat in the surrounding area and managed to find Da Settimo within walking distance. That too was by far our most favourite place to eat. Definitely check it out if you are staying here. There's also a rather large supermarket up the road to stock up on daily necessities.

Hotel staff were friendly and courteous and they have a nice little bar/lounge area in thr lobby as well. Will definitely come back and stay if we get a chance!!

Super modern, espectacular, elegant, pleasant, beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful, the only thing was that, the hotel was outside of the city. We had to take a bus by $1,50 euros, the distance was like 15 or 20 minutes, and the bus stop was almost at the front of the hotel. But was worth, everything, we had a really good good time. We super recomend. And the best was the restaurant that the recepcionist sugested us. The best Trattoria Restaurant, the food was incredible, the name was Ott & Mezzo.

Room Tip: I chose a bath room with a bath tub, was incredible, was $20USD more but after a long day a good bat...

We stayed here in the context of a city trip and friends visit. The hotel is modern, nice and very quiet rooms. The personnel is extremely friendly, breakfast has very good selection and quality. Nothing to complain about! It is a bit away from the center but excellent bus connection and that means the prices are fair!

Location is not so much a problem with this hotel. There is a bus stop close by, couple of steps away from the hotel, and can take you to downtown Florence is 20mins.
Rooms are big enough. The room in our TV actually had English movies. The bathroom amenities have complete set of what one might need.
We had breakfast daily. There is a great food selection. WIFI connection is also great. Hotel also sells bus tickets so it's easier for us on our first day there.

We booked this room as we had an early flight. Looking back, it would have been just as smart to stay in our more central hotel and take just one taxi to airport. This is a very nice hotel for the airport jump. Not any "quaint" surroundings, but served the purpose intended.
Front desk man was beyond helpful. Patiently helped us print out boarding passes. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast room and breakfast was large and with many options.

Just spent 5 might sat this hotel as I was working in Florence for the week. The front desk staff are an asset to this hotel and couldn't be more helpful; even taking my pot of tea to my room for me in the evenings. The rooms are spotlessly clean as are the bathrooms and the beds are extremely comfortable and fresh, guaranteeing you a good nights sleep. The only downside was not being able to turn on the air conditioning and I made the mistake of opening the windows which meant I ended up covered in mosquito bites. The ability to use air conditioning would have made such a difference. Parking is free, which is a big plus, and if you are working in the Peretola or Novoli districts this is the perfect location. If you are there to see downtown Florence this is far enough out to maintain really reasonable pricing but close enough to be convenient. Overall a really good hotel, with a great breakfast too! Would definitely stop here again. But please review your policy on the air-con!!

Room Tip: Only marking down on the rooms because of the hotel air-con policy. Don't open the windows becau...

This hotel is located along a road so for a quiet night of sleep, ask for a room that is not facing the front of the building. Unfortunately, our room was facing the road so it was quite noisy. Room is clean and modern in decor. Toilet looks new and is clean too with fresh-smelling thick towels and toiletries provided. There is free wifi but no tea/coffee making facilities. Bed is comfortable with clean bedding. There is a safe in the wardrobe. For runners like me though, there is sadly no gym in this hotel.
