Location is excellent, just five minutes from the train station and a short walk to most of the attractions. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We stumbled upon the Alloro after our hotel along the Arno cancelled on us - and we're glad they did because the Alloro was easily the best hotel we stayed in during our 2-week tour of Italy. The rooms we were given were lovely and enormous (our corner room had a huge sitting/dining areas with sofa and cushy chairs where we had many a "picnic" lunch). The bathroom was small but very clean and upscale. The only problem we had was getting used to the nightly street noise - a common problem we've dealt with before. The complimentary breakfast they provided was wonderful, and the front desk service was efficient and always delivered with a smile. Highly recommend.

We decided to stay here based on other reviews and we're glad we did. Our room, a triple, was amazing. A huge room with a small lounge area. High ceilings, huge windows, and slippers for each guest. Shower was great. Everything was immaculately clean. Fabulous attention to detail. Breakfast is served in a common area - home baked bread, croissants, meat, cheese, homemade yogurt in cute little jars, etc. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby during the day after check out. A short, easy walk to the train station. Only negative was some street noise at night which did not bother us.

The location is about a 5 minutes walk from the train station and close to all the attractions. The room we had was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The Allora has elegance and this is reflected in the decor. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful - cereals, juices, fresh fruit, bread, jams, cold meats, cheeses and of course lovely coffee. We really enjoyed our time at the Alloro B&B and found it very relaxing to come back and unwind in our beautiful room after a day of sightseeing.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Amber room which had a little balcony.

This is 1500 and something house transformed in B&Bs. You are surrounded by fine art so that everywhere you look there is something worth looking at. The Alloro is simply great. Location is perfect, not noise at nights, the staff could not be nicer, the breakfast is lovely with nothing missing, there are rooms from the most exquisite to the simplest ones. But in everyone everything works and is of good quality (bathroom, shower, beds, linen, amenities -- with which they are generous with free tea begs, coffee and cappuccino mixtures with an electric cattle). It is small enough to make you feel at home, but professional and organized enough to make you feel rightly treated as one expects from a B&B. I was lucky to get a very good price and, thought I stayed in one of the simplest single rooms, I would recommend it to anyone and hope I can repeat the experience.

Room Tip: If you want quiet choose the bedrooms in the rear; if you want to be surrounded by art and beauty al...
