Stayed at this hotel for one day. I absolutely loved it. Located in an old building this place captures all the charm of Florence. Rooms are small, but it was OK for one night. Our windows faced the the little yard in the back. Breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. Will stay here again.

My sister and I LOVED this place.
It is quiet, in a nice neighbourhood and the rooms are very clean.
We also loved that it was so easy to find! You just follow the canal. The streets in Florence invite you to get lost in them and find lovely nooks and crannies, but if you can find your way back to the canal you'll always be able to find your way back to the hotel. Walking home was a treat as you get to enjoy the sunset over the water.

Breakfast was good, there was a lot to choose from. Our room was huge, we appreciated the AC very much, the walls were a bit thin and the sink in our room loved to join in on our conversations by making very loud glug noises, we got a new friend out of it so it was all good.

Because you see, the very best thing about this place, is the staff!
Everyone was so helpful, and kind. From telling us where to find the best views and places in town to silly things like sliding our beds together because I was afraid I would fall. They did it with a smile.

Thank you very much for that!

When we come back next year we would love to see the ceiling in our room painted.

If you're expecting the ritz, you'll be disappointed. But for what you pay, you definitely get your money's worth. The main owner is a lovely guy. He went out of his way to accommodate my dietary requirements for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is run down, but clean. It's not great, but I've paid more money for a hostel before and here I got a private room and bathroom and breakfast, so it's good value.

Stayed here on personal recommendation and have nothing but good things to say about the place. Great location (10 minutes from train station, 20 minutes walk to the historic centro), friendly staff can get you anything you need, great breakfast, clean spacious rooms, what's not to like!

The hotel has a very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast, when you take the cheap nightly rates of the hotel into consideration. Often, hotels like this have the most boring breakfasts that will leave you still being hungry. But the breakfast at Hotel Crocini consists of both scrambled eggs, sausage, boiled eggs, fruit, toast, yoghurts, cheese, ham, croissants, Italian cakes, juice and a variety of cereals.

Our hotel room, however, was not that great. I mean, it had the basics you need, but the room was old and a bit dirty around the corners. It could definitely need some sort of redecoration. It also got quite humid in the whole room, if the bathroom door was left open. The most annoying thing though, was the fact that the walls were very thin, so we could hear the neighbours talking, kids running and screaming and the sounds of a tv.

All in all, I will recommend this hotel though. The breakfast is great, location 15-20 minutes beautiful walk to the city centre a long the river Arno. And if you are not sensitive to other peoples noise like me, you are homesafe :)
