had a wonderful stay at hotel. executive lounge served a great breakfast and has a nice view of Florence. took advantage of the free shuttle to downtown that drops you off across from train station. staff was very helpful. used hotel business center to print out boarding passes.

Hiltons in Europe do tend to be very good but this one is special: it is a few minutes outside the city limits but offers a free shuttle that runs early morning to late evening; also picks up at the train station if you are coming from Rome or other cities in Italy; very friendly staff; if you have access to the executive club use it or pay the extra for an exec club room. The club is on the rooftop with half of it outdoors with waterfalls, jasmine and an amazing view of Florence and the countryside. Tuscany day trips by tour bus or rental car are a breeze. We had taken the train from Rome, they picked us up at the station, transported us into the city each day and to a stop near the tour bus offices.

Room Tip: upper floors city or mountain view

Florence is a nice and small city. In the heart of city, just 15 minutes drive from SMN florence station, the hotel is located. We took the basic room, which is full of amenities, wifi is free and fast. Breakfast is lavish and full of surprises. We really enjoyed our stay for three nights at the hotel. Free shuttle service in between hotel and station, running since morning 8am till 10 pm. Staff is friendly and cooperative. very nice luxury stay at the hilton. Keep up the spirit. Also adjoining the hotel their is a bowling alley with games and shops and restaurant.

Room Tip: Go for the basic room, its good for travellers to save money. As you want peace it is the best hotel because it is 15 minutes from the station. But just outside the station, their are hotels in between the luxury shops and restaurant near basilca and churches.

I am currently staying in this hotel. We have been here for 2 nights and have one left.

Observations - small by American standards, but efficient. Strange light/hvac system, if you want them to work, you have to leave a key plugged in to the wall of the room. There is an okay cafe and tratteria/pizza place within walking distance, but that is it. There is nothing else here. The hotel is far away from town center, but they have a nice shuttle that is free but has a odd schedule.

Pros- nice view and exec lounge open 24/7. Hot water pot and instant coffee in room.

Cons - the decorative tile on the floor of our bathroom is broken and just sitting in place. I've almost fallen because of it and we have taken to laying a big towel down so it doesn't cut our feet. The shower is broken...it will spray cold water very well, but if you turn hot water on, you get a trickle. So we have had to take baths and use the spray attachment, but it won't unplug. We had to get get a spoon to pry open the drain! Our bed did not have a sheet on it! It was just a comforter and when I pulled it back there was hair in the bed! When I tried to call the desk to complain, no one would pick up. I called the front desk, operator, and concierge - no one ever answers. We were able to get a sheet, but we had to go to the front desk and ask for it at 10pm. There is a pool, but when we tried to use it, the door was locked... apparently using it COSTS MONEY. Don't let the website fool you, it is JUST a pool, nothing fancy, and it is small. The hotel website implies that it is available for use, but it is 8 euro/person .

I don't feel like I'm staying at a Hilton. This hotel does not meet there standards.

Hotel is situated outside the city centre but we managed to get there on arrival by using the tram and bus which cost 1.20 euros each. The reception was beautiful clean high ceilings and contemporary. The reception staff were so friendly and efficient, quickly checked in and in our room.

Our room on the 8th floor 808 which was a corner room with beautiful views of the city. Room was modern and very we'll furnished! Bathroom contained a large shower and was extremely clean.

Can't fault this hotel even the location, it is sited in a residential area which look ok not sure how safe it was but too be fair we used the complimentary shuttle buss which ran every hour to take us to the station.
We caught taxi back from the centre in the evening which cost us Between 12-15 euros.

Leisure facilities were lovely after a busy and tiring day walking around Florence it was lovely to relax in the spa pool!
Would recommend this hotel and Florence.

Room Tip: 808 high enough to see city and corner room
