“Quaint little place”

Had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had closets, mini-fridge, a little table with 2 chairs and a spacious ensuite bathroom.
It is a bit of a walk from the train station (20 minutes) and main attractions (30 minutes). There are buses up one block that you can take to get to train station. We never took it and walked evrywhere. One advantage to staying here is how peaceful it is as it is a residential area.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. She was kind enough to make reservations for us to go to Academia Gallleria to see David and to take into train and bus times for Pisa.
Breakfast is at a cafe one block away. It was quite a generous breakfast compared to our other ones in Italy. It consisted of a baked pastry, orange juice, yogourt and cappuccino or coffee.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July and can't really fault it. The rooms were lovely - simple and clean, and the host was really friendly and gave us advice about where to go in the city. The only downfall was that it was a little difficult to find, other than that I'd fully recommend it!

Perfect rooms. All staff provided friendly service (from start to finish). Remarkably clean. Wonderful bathroom. Great choice of artworks all around room and shared bar-areas (coffee and biscuits available anytime). Kitchen sink available. Inner garden is cute but mozzie-ridden during summer. Location requires a brief walk to inner city sights but frequent buses are also readily available till late if energy drains out of you early. Do beware of windows being left open at night (quite safe as ours opened to inner spaces) or be faced with mosquito havoc, however.

7 nights of sanctuary in Florence, for a young couple on budget.

It's about 20 mins walk from the train station but it was ok for us as we only had a luggage each.
We had a room by the street so it really noisy especially at night.
Room is clean; ensuite toilet is spacious and large.
When we got there, the lady was not around so we got to call her for check in.
The bonus is that it is near a good pita shop and coin laundry is round the corner.

In terms of room décor and cleanliness, the rooms are large and nicely decorated. The ensuite bathrooms are clean and modern. There is Wifi in all rooms but I was unable to connect to the internet on my computer or iphone even though was able to log in to wifi In summary, in its category of speciality lodging. I would rate Cimarosa Harmony as good in terms of room quality and service and specially value for money. The owners are approachable and friendly Breakfast is included but not served in the lodge. You are given a voucher to be used in a nearby coffee shop.I did not use it but was told that it would consist of 2 croissant and coffee/tea.

Negatives

This is not a hotel but speciality lodging. Hence like most of the speciality lodging in Florence, they are unmanned out of hours. It is therefore quite important that you email them your arrival time in advance. It is often difficult to identify these hotels as they just have small bronze plate on the door. It is slightly far from the railways station and took me around 20minutes walk to reach the hotel with luggage. The room was a little noisy as the room overlooked the street and I could hear people walking and talking till early in the morning.

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid October. Large clean(spotless room with excellent shower. Outside a garden/patio area-excellent place to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening. A good 15min walk from the station and quite difficult to find (get a good street map) Lady owner friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the cafe at the end of the road, sweet roll and coffee was adequate. I would stay here again, no problems. In the square near the breakfast cafe is a pizzaria. looks small from the front and looked empty when we visited. however the main restaurent is in the back, well worth a visit, good food and good value.. have a look its well worth it despite first impressions!

Room Tip: all rooms appeared good the lady takes a pride in her establishment- the best we visited in our tour...

We wondered throughout the neighborhood to find it. Looked ordinary from outside BUT the quality was surprisingly good. We got everything right in our hands starting from the AC remote upto wi-fi internet connection. the room we got was cozy the sleep was tight and in the morning when sun-rays came from roof-window and also from the front window we felt pleasantly fresh. the kitchen was little small but has everything to make our coffee. Remembered it!!
