This is a very pleasant hotel. I would recommend this hotel. The front desk is polite, friendly and helpful. The lobby is adequate but not a place to hang out. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a king size bed. The room air conditioning was regulated to a slightly higher temperature than we would have set. The bathroom was fine. The only real complaint I have is the wi-fi did not work very well. If you need more than spurts of wi-fi, this place would not work. We basicly gave up wi-fi until we got back on the train (the trains had good wi-fi). For people with mobility problems you need to be aware that you had to climb about four or five stairs to get to the elevator. In the hotel itself, I seem to recall one had to go up a step to get to some rooms. These are not difficult stairs but they are stairs. Breakfast was as expected, high quality food but nothing out of the ordinary. We had difficulty in finding the hotel because when looking at maps, and trying to correlate the map to the actual streets, I presumed the streets I saw were open to cars. What a mistake, several of the streets we had to cross including the big plaza at the church (Santa Maria Novella) were closed to traffic. The hotel is about 5 minute walk from the train station. It was 5 to 15 minute walks to everything in town. The hotel is accessible to taxi. We had no problems finding good reasonably priced restaurants near by. There is a self-service laundry around the corner. I liked this place.

We sent our auto rental info to this hotel to forward on to the appropriate authority so we wouldn't have to pay the exorbitant fines for driving in Florence. They did not follow through, although they promised that they would. Don't stay here and don't drive in Florence, or Italy for that matter. Hertz was also at fault for this.

Residenza Fiorentina is in walking distance of the main Railway station. Our room was clean and spacious and well appointed. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast ample and Wifi was free. (good thing with teenagers) Residenza Fiorentina is located close to everything you wish to see, and close to transport including the Hop On and Off bus pickup. Of the 3 star Hotels we stayed in on our holiday (5) it probably was the best.

This hotel is a residence with some hotel rooms. It is very hard to find and access. Lots of stairs and no lift to rooms but the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice, room is clean but worn, however everything works. The location is a 7 minute walk from the train and a 10 minute walk from the square...if you are fit and can walk vigorously.

We came to Florenze by car and the hotel was quite difficult to allocate, as there are many one way streets around the hotel and many were temporarly closed. Once we managed we really loved the location, free internet in the room and services of the hotel. The room is rather simple, but clean and comfortable...

Room Tip: very friendly receptionist

We loved this hotel. It was easy to find, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. They have the best beds in Europe, and the air conditioning was great. Our bathroom was very clean and new. The breakfast was included with our room, and it was very yummy. We had meats and cheeses, croissants, rolls, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, and more. The men running the front desk were so friendly, and they quickly remembered our room number! We loved the way the huge front doors opened automatically when we pushed the button outside. I can't think of anything that would make this hotel more perfect than it was.

Room Tip: Our room was on the back, opening up to a courtyard, and it was very quiet. I don't know how th...

We booked our holiday to this hotel with Lowcostholidays for 3 nights from 16th Apr to 19th Apr they arranged the hotel and flights perfectly, having read some reviews previously I was very concerned about actually finding this hotel, but it was approx 4/5 mins walk from the train station and clearly numbered, so far so good, on entering inside you need to either use the lift or walk up two flights of stairs, where we were given a warm and friendly greeting by the hotel staff who all appeared to speak very good english.
Our room was perfect, very clean with neutral colours, breakfast was a very good continental style with plenty for everyone, and I noticed that all plates were regularly replenished.
I would recommend this hotel as it is situated within easy walking distance of a few mins to the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella and of course the beautiful Boboli Gardens, the hotel was very clean, with friendly helpful staff, it was also reasonable in cost, with plenty of local restaurants to choose from and excellent service, we will definately visit again and stay longer using Lowcostholidays of course.

Room Tip: Ask for a double bed, ours was 6 feet wide
