Our host were this great couple who completely enjoyed what they did. The breakfast was delicious freshly prepared based on what we wanted.

The location is great! We were in the cathedral view room which had a great view. Being next to Duomo made it accessible every key city location we wanted to go to.

Wifi, refrigerator, tea/ coffee in room.

Highly recommended!

Superb location in a beautiful old building right next to the cathedral and hence an easy walk to all the tourist sites (and 10-15 minutes from the station/airport bus dropoff), large rooms. Breakfast served in your room. No need to buy a guidebook - you get a map with enthusiastic advice on what to see and where to eat - even if some of the recommended restaurants are so popular you have to wait half an hour for a seat if you don't reserve in advance. Wifi works well. Minibar to store your pecorino and salami purchases ....

So what's to quibble about ?
The name is only part truth - not all rooms have great views (but you get the great view as soon as you leave the building). It's a long two flights of steps up if you have heavy luggage - pack light ! The reception isn't open all the time - check the opening hours and if you're likely to arrive at some other time email or ring in advance to make sure someone will be there. The great location means you will hear loud cathedral bells from time to time (but no long peals while we were there, to our regret, not a Florentine tradition).

We will not hesitate to stay here again on any return trip to the city.

Spending two nights in this place was charming to me. The most I like that the place saves its historical identity. I went back to live in a century which I was not born in. The building is simply amazing. The old stairs, traditional Italian furniture and decoration are great. The location is perfect with a very nice view to the Cathedral and the squre. Close to everything even station which needs only short walk. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and service. The place made my holiday. I strongly recommend it for those want to have something different.

Amazing...I think that is the wonly word that can do this place justice. When you look out the window and stare out into the piazza and look up at the amazing cathedral while crowds of people buzz around below you...I did have to actually pinch myself to convince myself that this was real! This B&B has a lot more to offer than the view though. The rooms are rustic and very authentic. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is just what you need for a short stay. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere so central in my life and for the sights of Florence you literally just have to walk out of the door with most attractions being a maximum ten minute walk away at the furthest!
The breakfast was amazing and served in your room each morning..so good we took a picture! Staff were very friendly and helpful despite having a couple of arrivals at the same time we arrived. All in all an amazing experience...being woken up by the bells each morning was the most amazing alarm call I have ever had!

Room Tip: Get a room at the front of the property for views of the cathedral and across the piazza.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the A Florence View Bed and Breakfast in Florence. The location was exceptional - within walking distance from so much in Florence and with a great view of the Cathedral/Duomo. We were greeted upon check-in by Nicolo who was very friendly, thoroughly explained the wi-fi, area attractions and answered our questions. Through the stay, we interacted with Guiliana who was very gracious, prepared a lovely breakfast in our room and even made museum reservations for us at the Accademia. The room rates were reasonable and I would happily stay here again!

This was our first trip to Florence and we couldnt have wanted a better location to stay. The B&B is right on the Cathedral square about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The family who run it couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. The room was spotless and lovely and cool.
What ever you do make sure you climb up to the top of the Duomo.Dont be put off by the 483 steps!,there are places to stop and catch your breath and when you reach the top the view is amazing and worth every step.
A fantastic place to stay in this beautiful city.

Il Duomo was right outside our window! Easy to find everything you want to see from this location. Room was good sized but on third floor with no elevator. Very clean with light breakfast served in the room. I would recommend staying here.
