This is a fabulous place for an authentic Florentine sandwich. They will put anything on it that you like or you can order one of the combos on the blackboard. The bread, schiacciatta, is crispy and wonderful. This fillings are house made and delicious! A perfect sandwich for only 4 euros. Very near Santa Croce.

Can only agree with all the positive comments about this place. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed the tasty sandwiches made from a selection of cold cuts of cured meat and delicious sun dried tomatoes. Salads and cheeses are good too,Just choose from the counter what you want and enjoy. Sit in or take away. There is also a good selection of wines and two beers on pressure at a reasonable price.Dont go here if you are looking for a formal meal its not that sort of place.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced and delicious lunch or late night snack this is the place to come. The guys who work here are extremely friendly and will make you a made to order sandwich using fresh cold cuts and home made spreads. I recommend standing at the counter enjoying a glass of wine (a good variety to choose from at reasonable prices) and talking to the employees while you enjoy a great panini.

Most people raved about this restaurant. We ordered sandwiches to take out. Yes, the two owners are great guys and work hard to make their business a success. On their own, they asked if we wanted to sample the cheese and salami so we could decide on the sandwich. The white cream cheese spread that they used was wonderful. Our ham and cheese sandwiches were 4 euros which was reasonable. When we ate them, we felt like there was a lot of hard crunchy bread and could not taste the meat and cheese inside. We ended up taking one piece of bread off and eating it that way. We felt like the sandwiches were nothing special. There is dining space in the back.
