“Fresh and delicious”

This is a "hole in the wall" but well worth the find. The Panini ingredients were fresh and yummy. Salads at neighboring tables looked great, too!

“People watching mid afternoon after long walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2014

Ahh , a place to sit and watch, very relaxing. Be aware though that the location isn't on the crossroads as indicated on the app it is @ 100 metres further south on the pedestrianised road toward the Duomo. Nice place, small and the hostess is very friendly. Cold meats platter , various bruschettas' and street life entertainment.

“Bohemian charm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2014

This was a great little spot for a late night drink.

Very chilled Ibizan-esque atmosphere.

The two female owners are perfectly pleasant and charming without being over familiar.

I love the assortment of tables and chairs. Great little collection revamped.

Also loved the small bowl of cherries served with the drinks!

Thank you ladies for. Few wonderful evenings

“Charming little place, not one of the best places”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

The Ete Bistro is a charming little place for a drink and a snack. But it definitely is not the 17th best (or 4th best as the offline app says) restaurant in Florence. The staff was very friendly and the ingredients fresh. The menu offers sandwiches, crostini, bruschetta, cold cuts, salads, galettes and deserts. My partner had a crostini with melted cheese and sausage, which was ok but quite greasy. I had a galettte with goat cheese inside, some dried tomatoes (not soaked in anything) and some lettuce leafs with a bit of olive oil on the side. While the galette was well made the dish itself left me a little puzzled. It was quite dry and I did not know what to do with all those dried tomatoes. Unfortunately, my virgin mojito also was way to sour to drink. I really want little places like these to flourish. And as I said, it is a nice place to sit and have a drink. But allot of the reviews are too positive.

“Bohemian organic wine bar!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2014 via mobile

Doesn't get any better than that in my book. My daughter and I spent an eve enjoying people watching, drinking crisp organic wines and eating fresh ingredients, simply incredible! NE of the station.. Worth venturing out to find - right across from a hostel.. We will go back! Forgot to mention that the two owners are most welcoming and magical! Catered to out picky eating requests. Love the energy!
