“Interesting place with good food- quiet corner in the busy center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Friendly staff, good choices on delicious food. Interesting place with vintage furniture for sale all over. Kind of hidden place right at the center, definitely a place if you want to take a breath from the hustle of the center buzzing with tourists. A local hangout place, in a quite corner.

“Hanging with the Locals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This place popped up on a list of vegetarian friendly places to eat, and we loved it. It's clearly a gathering place for locals and I think we were the only non-Italians there. It's tucked away from the touristy areas, and you really have to look to find it.

The place has a real cool vibe - we sat outside on vintage beach and outdoor lounge furniture that is apparently also for sale. The have a very unique bar and focus on mixed drinks that incorporate a lot of local ingredients and flavor. The food is casual, most were eating panini. And the vegan ones prepared for use were just amazing. We also dropped in the day before we ate there to reserve a spot, and my wife asked if they made a vegan dessert, and the chef said that he would do something for us. The dessert he made - a plant based custard/pudding was great.

Even though it's simple and funky, this really was our best meal in Italy. You should know that because it's frequented by locals, and most young Italians smoke, you will be around smokers. This didn't bug us because we were outdoors, but if you are sensitive to that you should just be aware.

“A Secret corner of Florence where furniture and food made in detail.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

I have been living in Florence for almost 12 years and iq absolutely find it amazing when young Florentines can come out with out of the box wonderful ideas in combining their passions.

AMBLE has been able to do this marvelously, they sell everything from old chairs, beaches loungers, vintage articles that are not found everywhere, upcycled furniture and objects available for sale while eating your delicately made panino. You can choose your own fillings or leave one to their artistry. Not only do they make paninos they make big healthy salads with a huge amount of selection of toppings you can put in, and that on a summers day is perfect.

You can choose your own fillings or leave one to their artistry. They make fresh shakes and the ambience is so central yet hidden from the maddening crowds a great place to sit and chill for lunch or an aperitivo. Few places take such lengths to make an environment they love because they know other people will, Amble has been able to do all that. Great work guys.

Nested in the central of florence. The cereal bread is so special n the ingredients they use are so fresh I came back for more the next day. The cappuccino is really smooth like it was brewed w care. And the best part is u can buy off any piece of furniture u like from the cafe. Vintage style. Loving it! :)
