“Wonderful food & wine to share”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

This is a wonderful place. We went here for lunch when we first arrived in florence. It's a small place & very busy, however it really is worth the wait. You get sharing platters of bread, meat, cheese, olives etc & wine is by the glass. It is very reasonably priced. Def go here for a bite to eat, relax & drink.

“Late night dinner!”
Reviewed May 10, 2014 via mobile

Do not trust the map since it points you into the river :) it is aprox 200 meters from it, towards city center. Look up the adress instead.
But we do agree with all positive reviews! Great place for wine and dinner with loits of variety in a platter! 100% worth going!

“One of the loveliest places in Florence”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

This was one of the best places I've been in Florence, probably even in Italy! La Prosciutteria is a lovely vintage tuscan place where you can really enjoy! I advise you to come around 5 p.m. when there's not so many people (or maybe we had luck), order some special plates with different proscuitto, ham, bressaiola and cheeses and of course some vine. Chianti or Brunello is perfect! The best way to enjoy is that you leave yourself to them and they will give you the best! Don not just take the food "to go", but sit at the table and enjoy!
