“Great hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

We loved Number 9! The hotel is only a year old and everything seems in perfect condition. A true "art" hotel with a great modern look. The room was huge and very spacious (though our bathroom in room 202 could have been a bit bigger for 2 adults). The bed was HUGE! and very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was close to all the sights, the open market, great restaurants and excellent shopping. The staff was outstanding-- friendly and very helpful. There was an outstanding breakfast and amazing "snacks" during lunch and the cocktail hour. When we return to Florence we will be staying here again. I know our stay was too short.

Room Tip: The photos on the website are a good representation of what you get. The rooms are that nice. Some r...

We stayed for a long weekend at the Firenze Number Nine and we were absolutely satisfied. I loved our room: spacious, with a wonderful ceiling, a king size bed, a corridor shower..everything we needed for a lovely, romantic weekend..we got a quite room and the minibar is free :-)
Absolutely worth it is the breakfast!! very nice lobby and helpful receptionists. We had no time to try the Spa but as far as I understand it is not just for the hotel guests. In fact everyone can use it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends!

Location, location, location! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The service was impeccable. Alessandro was extremely helpful. He booked our tour and he also recommended some excellent restaurants. After experiencing some awful restaurants in Rome we were grateful that we finally had found some awesome food. Make sure to go to Gianninos restaurant. We loved it so much we ate there 3 times. This hotel also has an excellent breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The location was perfect (in the heart of the city centre), the staff was always extremely helpful and we enjoyed a great breakfast (included) every morning. The room and washroom were very clean and modern. We did not use the pool or spa, so cannot comment on those. Only drawback we had was the wifi on our iPad and Macbook kept dropping, but not entirely sure if that was on their end or ours.

Room Tip: We stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious for two, with double sinks, shower and a double...

We recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Number Nine and found it to be absolutely fantastic. Upon our arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a junior suite and were absolutely blown away by how lovely the room was. The location was ideal, close to the Duomo and easy to find from the main train station.
The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service at all times. We stayed in quite a few other hotels during our holiday but can say without a doubt that our time at Number Nine was the most memorable. We have already, and will continue to recommend this hotel to anyone we can and should we be lucky enough to return to Florence in the future we would rebook it without hesitation.

Room Tip: We booked direct with the hotel rather than through a third-party website. This worked well because...

Magnificently situated in the center of interest of Florence, modern furniture very well arranged, comfortable with friendly and efficient service and a lovely breakfast with all what one could wish and more ...

Room Tip: Suites are just perfect, but great danger to get lost in them .....

Firenze No. Nine is a new entry into the hotel market in Florence, and it proved a perfect location for our recent trip to the city. Its location is about 1 1/2 blocks from the Duomo, and just a few yards from the Medici Chapel. Despite its centrality, the rooms were quiet. We were upgraded upon arrival, and the room proved to be modern and very large. It featured two sinks, and a large shower, which was much appreciated in the heat of a Florence summer. Breakfast was excellent as well. I can also recommend the several restaurants in the area. You might have to trust Tripadvisor on this one, since it is too new to be listed in most guidebooks.
