The "in room" brochure description for this hotel accurately and comprehensively describes the product delivery without any overstatement. A bit pricey as Florence hotels are, this hotel fits the "boutique" description perfectly. Staff friendliness and assistance was quite outstanding. The superb gym is an added bonus. Centrally located with all cultural and retail activities within a short walk. Breakfast buffet is of a high standard. The only (minor) issue was the shower only bathroom........a bath being a bonus after a hard days "tourism" ........but there was the spa as an option of course. Would revisit and strongly recommend.

The location, the service, the extras, the style and the quality value is so good, that i would recommend this to anyone who wants to make their stay in florence special. They offer a nice complimentary high tea in the library in the afternoon and wine and great little bites in the early evening. Mini bar is included and the spa and fitness facilities as well, and they are amazing! Their location is perfect, with all special sights in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at Firenze Number Nine last week. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a new hotel, which is nice. It's a great location (minutes from everything). We will definitely stay here again.

We recently spent a little over a week at Firenze Number Nine, and it was a truly wonderful stay. By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving home. The staff was fantastic, everyone from the breakfast staff in the morning to the waiter who served wine with the apertivo at night greeting you like family, and took care of your every need. We cannot say enough about the front desk staff, they actually talked us through the maze of one way streets in Florence one rainy Sunday night when our GPS was not up to the task of getting us to the hotel. The rooms were lovely, large and very tastefully decorated. The spa and gym facilites next door are a great amenity. Our only complaint, which should be cured by now, is that they were constructing additional rooms, and we were greeted by the sound of hammering and drilling at 8:00 am quite a few mornings. Overall, an amazing experience, a great hotel in a great location made exceptional by the incredible stadd.

This is a beautiful, stylish new hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed twice--before and after a weeklong getaway to the tuscan countryside. The staff couldn't have been more capable, friendly and helpful, especially Yanni, who went above and beyond to make arrangements for us to ship our daughter's belongings back to the States after her semester in Florence.

We began our 10-day Italy trip in Florence, and spent 3 days at the number 9. We were greeted by delightful Yanni, and were checked in efficiently. The hotel was recently renovated, so everything is new and modern. The rooms are clean and a good size (we had a king executive room), with a nicely appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was included, and set the standard for the rest of the trip (it was by far the best of the trip). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The overall service again set a high bar for the remainder of our trip (which included Venice and Rome stays). No other hotel experience was as professional or accommodating (including our stay at a high-end hotel in Rome). The hotel is centrally located for all the sites, and is an easy walk (even with luggage) to the train station. Rooms included free WiFi. I did not use the pool, spa or fitness club, although all were available and looked great.

Room Tip: Rooms do not have a view per se, but one side faces the street, while the other faces a back alley/s...
