We hesitated to go on this tour, after seeing some of the negative reviews here. But the concierge at our hotel assured us that his guests were always quite thrilled with it, so we went ahead and risked it. (besides, it was considerably cheaper than other tours, and skipped Pisa, which we had been told wasn't worth it) We are so glad we took his advice! This was an absolutely delightful, well-organized day, with a knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat tour guide (Barbara). San Gimignano is breathtaking, and the wine tasting and introduction to all things pertaining to olive oil, balsamic vinegar and wine quite enlightening - and so yummy, we went home with some homemade 8 year old balsamic vinegar. Don't bother with the package lunch they offer (though it's a steal at 10 euros, including wine) and save yourself the walking tour of Siena. But everything else was magical. If we go back to Italy someday, we'll start our trip in Tuscany, thanks to Barbara's introduction.

Last February my wife and I have participated to a tour in the heart of Tuscany, visiting marvelous medieval countries as Siena and San Gimignano.
It was our first day in the territory of the Chianti and we have had the opportunity to visit the wine cellars of a firm vinicola and to taste the typical wine, oil and slice cold meats...what a deliciousness!!!
A well organized tour with good guide and also leisure time for photos and shopping!

I made this half day tour with my family and it was amazing. Chianti area is fantastic and the tour leader are very kind, helpful and they have answered to all our questions. I took lots of photo so, don't forget to bring your photocamera with you.
My tour is one of the best tour operator I have ever known. Congratulations!!

My girlfriend and I spent our first full day after arriving in Florence on the San Gimignano, Siena e Chianti. We expected to have a good time. We visited San Gimignano “the town of the hundred towers”: here we discovered a pot-pourri of fragrances and flavours to be savoured in a unique tour of the countless artistic and cultural treasures the town possesses.
The trip continued to Siena in the charm of the architectural styles of the Cathedral and Palazzo Comunale, in Piazza del Campo, the stage of the famous Palio race.
In the afternoon we went to one vineyard drank loads of great wine, had fantastic food, saw beautiful scenery learned about wine making, olive oil but in retrospect the highlight was our guide. He is an unforgettable force of nature! Thanks My Tour! This tour is very amazing and interesting!

My son and I paid 60 euro each for a guided tour through Chianti that was supposed to include 3 guided stops; Greve, Castellina, and Monteriggioni castle. At each place we were dropped off in the town and told to return in 30 minutes. We arrived in Greve and Castellina in the afternoon, so the shops were all closed as the Italians close up shop from 1 - 3 every afternoon, and our guide, Grazia was very pleasant but did not provide any history or information. The van ride was quiet - no information. We did not tour a wine cellar as stated in the information. We did go to Casanova Vineyard and enjoyed our time with the Owner, but learned nothing about the procedures of producing and aging wine. The tour is a disappointment. I am so sorry I didn't research Mytours first on tripadvisor. I don't think they train their tour guides and you are lucky if you get a good one. We did not get the tour that we purchased as described in their beautifully presented brochure. Don't be fooled.
