“what a gem”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We came across this family run restaurant by chance and what a find. The staff were friendly and the spaghetti with seafood was exceptional. The best I've ever had. WE only had the one night in Florence otherwise we would certainly have eaten there again.

“Surprisingly good”
Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

We ate here twice on a recent week- long trip to Florence- I am sure there are more authentic places nearby that offer better value etc but as a family of 4 with young teens and each wanting their specific Italian favourites , this place ticked the boxes. Lovely minestrone, kids loved the bolognese(and they are conesseuirs), and I had excellent risotto- portions just fine. I wasn't crazy about a pork dish my husband had but he liked it. All cheaper than home, and though service was a little disorganised, the staff were charming. Overall, got exactly what I wanted given that we were not in a position to search for alternatives for hours.

“One of My Favourite Places in Italy to Eat”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We happened upon this place just outside of Duomo Piazza,There were road works happening just outside the place and it could have been missed but luckily we gave it a go.The inside is quite intimate and tastfully decorated. The first thing that jumped at us was the customer service that our waiter and the restaurant owner gave us.Certainly the best we exoerienced in our time in Florence.Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Complimentary bread for the table for starters.I had the bruchetta and the Fettachini. Both were excellent and a decent sized helping.Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meal and the wine was reasonably priced too.Would definately look for this place again and thankyou to the staff for their friendly service and great food

“Very Good Light Lunch”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

We stopped in here for a light lunch after visiting the Duomo. Nice place, displaying some really tasty things behind the glass counter....which eventually go into the sandwiches and on the pizzas. We shared a brushetta and a pizza. Both were really good. Their house wines were also really good - some of the best we had in Florence. Price was reasonable, service friendly - and we didn't have any cover charges.

“Average food, nice staff”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Had dinner here one evening while visiting Florence. The food was good (mixed bruschetta, boneless pork and roast potatoes), service was good, and I was given an aperetif on the house, which was a nice surprise.
