This is a great small hotel. The staff and service were absolutely superb - put almost all other hotels to shame in this respect. It had a lot of wee extras that help make your stay such as laptop with free internet, DVD/PS2, DVD library, small book library, and a complementary happy hour with drinks and nibbles each evening.
Only drawbacks are:
- if you have a lot of luggage there is a steep set of stairs to climb to get to the lift. Although we went and checked with reception and they sent their porter to get the bags.
- In my initial order my email unknowingly got spammed, which meant my order of two nights was not confirmed and we could only stay one night. However, the staff sorted out another hotel (higher star class but cheaper price) just up the street. So if you book via the internet follow up on your email order to ensure it is confirmed.
