This was a great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spacious and the double bed was a double bed- not two twins pushed together. It was not right in the middle of the main squares so it was quieter.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my sister in mid October. Very nice, quiet hotel. I booked thru hotels and contacted the hotel directly about a month before my arrival to be sure we had twin beds. The hotels kindly assigned us to a triple so we had twin beds plus a sofa and the room was very large. Even though the room was at the front of the hotel, the soundproffed windows worked great. The bathroom was modern, large and had great hot water. There was a whirlpool tub but we never had a chance to try it. The beds were very comfortable with freshly pressed sheets daily. Excellent lighting. The breakfast was very good but disorganized - all three mornings they ran out of eggs and replenishment was slow in coming (I ate at different times each day). Canned fruit salad but freshly made yoghurt. The baked goods were too sweet for my taste but I love those little packages of toast anyway. The coffee was awful but a good selection of teas. It was a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved our three nights at the Adler! The hotel is small with a wonderful ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive.
The rooms are not large but have beautiful details..such as artistically painted ceilings and beautiful wood furnishings.
The hotel has several sitting areas which provided opportunities for us to mingle with other guests.
Breakfast was delicious. The hostess knew us by the second day and anticipated our needs.
You can walk anywhere in Florence from here but I was happy to have my husband at my side since you do pass the train station where as most train stations do...there were some local men "hanging out".
The only down side... The rooms on the street are noisy due to traffic but they provide two sets of exterior windows which muffle the sounds. Besides..you awoke to church bells!

The Adler staff is helpful and friendly. Franco will answer any questions you have by email. The location of the hotel is conveniently situated to all major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Chocolate and slippers were among the amenities. I recommend this place without reservation.
