Stayed here about 6 weeks ago as part of a Trafalgar tour. Staff were excellent and helpful at the hotel and it was within easy walking distance of many of the attractions in Florence. Rooms were nice and the building had a nice charm to it with many winding corridors. Only negative was the breakfast section was not up to others we had on our trip around Italy.

The hotel was easy suitcase-dragging distance from the main bus/coach/train station. By chance the best restaurant that we visited during our stay, Trattoria Dall'Oste was just opposite the station only 150 metres/yards away from the hotel. The hotel was one of several positiuoned on the Easyjet we-page. Never trusting in-your-face adverts I checked external reviews first and took the plunge. I received huge praise from the members of my family for my 'inspired choice'. Not deserved of course but it really was. The rooms were clean and nicely fitted. The two sets of windows were double-glazed so there was no noice from the street. The air-coditioning was silent but effective. The shower/toilet rooms differed in size. Ours wasa the smallest but all were very modern and clean. We never saw any cleaners or room preparers but they had always done their jobs well. Reception staff were very helpful and arranged everything we requested. Our stay included breakfast. Again, the staff were polite and attentive and the available selection was excellent. Would I recommend it? I already have. Unfortiunately I somehow left my camera behind. I emailed the hotel. They confirmed it had been found and arrangements have been made to forward it. All in all a delightful experience.

Room tip: This is for tourists. Not for curtain twitchers. Ask for a roomy shower room if possible.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Lovely hotel - nothing I would change / complain about.
Perfect location - just around the corner from the bus and train station, so ideal if arriving there with luggage, and handy for transport for days out around the region. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby, and just 15 mins walk to central attractions.
We had a room on 3rd floor looking onto courtyard - there was minimal traffic noise with window open, and silence with window shut. The room was a good size twin / double, nice bath / shower room, good air con to keep room cool, kettle and hot drinks in room and mini-bar fridge.
Breakfast was great - a good selection of cereals, fruit, breads, meats, cheese, eggs, pastries and cakes. You could either eat inside or at tables outside in the courtyard. A lovely start to the day.
The traditional decor of the hotel was delightful, combined with all modern requirements. Good free wifi throughout. Nice sitting room area with complimentary cooled water throughout the day. Really helpful staff at reception 24/7. (Didn't use the fitness facilities - too busy!)
We had a lovely break in Florence, and would recommend this hotel very highly.

Location is good, breakfast just ok. Rooms are old and need renovation. Nothing specific to complain from.
Walking distance from main plazas and restaurants. Google maps doesn't work well in alleys to lead to restaurants of high reviews so you go to depend on ur sense for that
