Traveled with my granddaughter, central, located on a second floor of an historic building. Great room and bathroom. Yummy breakfast. Amazing staff at the front desk, so nice and helpful. My Special thanks to our godmother Lucia, and also to Marina, Luna, Francesco and Camillo. You would not find anything in this price range in Firenze!

On our arrival the hotel is a bit hard to find, but once found it was good location for everything. Good selection of breakfast items. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Room very clean. Only downside is that two single beds were pushed together, one was hard mattress and the other soft.
At first this hotel is deceptively hidden, but once you find it you will be glad you did. The location is great. Close enough to all the sites but not so close that it is noisy. The rooms are great with huge bathrooms. The breakfast in the morning is ample and quite tasty. The front desk people are great about offering help and suggestions on places to eat and see. The only other comment. The elevator that takes you up there is VERY small. So think about how many trips up with luggage if you have big pieces.
Beautiful City! Hotel is walking distance to the market and many restaurants. Staff suggested excellent restaurants and the breakfast was good, great cappuccino's on request at breakfast! Grocery store almost right across the street, tour booking business on either side of the st. We are a family of 3 and had a simple, clean room, nice shutters that opened out to the street below - but we didn't spend our days in the room. It was the perfect spot and price to lay your head and get advice and a big breakfast to start your day. The only con my husband left his very expensive prescription glassed behind and they were never found and the mosquitos! We would stay there again!
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Columba for two nights. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and is centrally located near lots of nice restaurants and places of interest. To get to reception you can take the stairs to the second floor or the old style lift. Check in was swift and easy and out room was in a quiet part of the hotel. On first impression it appeared very basic but when you have a good look around it has everything you need. The bathroom was spacious and modern, the air conditioner worked well and the wifi was acceptable. Breakfast is supplied and although on a smaller scale, there was enough to fill you up each morning. We couldn’t complain. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Columba and for the price we were pleasantly surprised.
When we first arrived the staff was overly helpful and friendly helping us find museums, restaurants and places to shop. Our room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi is so slow it’s not even worth logging on. This is by far the worst part about the hotel. The breakfast is nothing fantastic but the coffee bar is extremely good! The cleaning ladies did leave our room unlocked one day but overall I enjoyed the hotel. The location could not be better!
