“Great wine tasting experience! Super Maurizio!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013 via mobile

A great 2 hours experience with Maurizio during our stay in Florence. It is an absolute must if you would like to understand more about the best treasures of Tuscany's wines. Maurizio is a friendly and funny guy, although very acknowledged about the industry, the history and the tastes! If you have some spare time in Florence, do not miss this great opportunity to learn a bit more about the wine production and wines itself.

“Friendly and Professional”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

I have been studing wset 2 intermediate at the Tuscan Wine School, and starting from first approach with our Educator Maurizio I noticed his friendly and professional way to comunicate.
All, it was confirmed again during the course and tasting wines at the school, in which Maurizio was an amazing source of detailed informotions. Wines come from everywhere in the World, the school was clean and just 10 minutes walking connected by Santa Maria Novella Station, in the historical heart of Florence (a few minutes from Ponte Vecchio).
I suggest at each one as wine lovers as professional to try it.

“Big fun and educational”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

My wife and I went to Wine School on a bit of a whim while in Florence and we were very glad that we did. There were only six of us with Maurizio that night and we had a really good time. I learned a lot about wine in Italy (we are moderately well educated about wine in general, having been in "school" in Napa and done the whole California thing) and much enjoyed the generous tastings (and cheese, olive oil, vinegar, etc.). Maurizio answered all kinds of questions, meandered here and there about the business, the world of wines, various tastes, chemistry, politics, and much else, but was always engaging, passionate, fun, and funny. We had a blast. it was much more/better than we expected. Worth every European penny.

“A must do event in Florance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2013

We took the Tuscan Wine class with Maurizio and it was excellent. Maurizio was extremely knowledgeable and the class was very informative, interactive and fun! I learned a lot about Tuscan wines while having the opportunity to taste some really good wine (the Brunello was the best!) We had about 15 people in our class and the 2 hour class ended up being close to 3. I would definitely recommend it.

“Informative & Fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

I spent 2 months in Florence this summer and this was definitely one of my favorite activities. I attended the half day wine tour that included a morning wine class, a drive through the countryside and a tour and lunch at a nearby winery. The tour was informative and fun - it was the perfect balance of activity with time to enjoy the day. The typical Tuscan lunch served at the winery is filling and paired with several glasses of wine, the perfect combination to make new friends from around the world. Whether you're in Florence for a couple of days or a couple of months, this should be on the top of your list!
