We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dali. Our friends recommended it and we were not disappointed. We stayed there 3 nights. We stayed on the courtyard side of the hotel and it was very quiet. The rooms were very clean and Marco obviously puts a lot of energy into running a great little hotel. The location is fabulous, right next to the Duomo. We didn't have a bathroom in our room which I thought would bother me. However, it really didn't become an issue at all! If you are looking for a good value in Florence, with nice owners, and great location this is your place.

My family of 6 stayed here 2 nights. Perfect location. Clean and comfortable... The owners are friendly and gave great advice for dining and sights. Best value during our stay....will try again should we ever come back to Firenze. Just wish the showers were bigger!

Hotel Dali is located near the Duomo and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Simple and clean, the room are comfortable. We were on the courtyard side and could hear the noise of the May 1st celebrations so I guess the room on the street can be a little bit noisy at times. That being said, it's the only drawback because the place is great (bathrooms and rooms), the location is excellent, the price is good and Marco is quite a gentleman and offers a great service to make sure your stay in Firenze will be amazing! Strongly recommended!

When we first booked the hotel we asked for a quiet room away from the street and reception. On arrival and after a long drive we were given Rm #12 directly beside the reception and overlooking a busy, loud street. The first night we hardly slept as it was a holiday, screaming and shouting until early morning, yikes, welcome to Florence...

The hotel itself was fine.It is a 3rd floor apartment made into rooms. There was no breakfast offered , however, there was a hot water kettle in the room which was great for a morning cup of tea. They also leave a chocolate brioche for you in the room each day which was also very nice.

The room was tiny , my husband at 6ft 3 could sit on the toilet and take a shower at the same time. ha ha...

Marco was an exceptional manager of the hotel, always friendly, full of information and tips. Peter also gave us a great tip to eat at Zio Gigi just around the corner. Amazing food and wonderful staff.

Parking was in the courtyard and there was a charge. You have to be a very good careful driver to be able to drive through the very narrow opening into the courtyard.... we managed by stopping all traffic... good fun.

The real downfall of this hotel is the loudness. Perhaps if we had a room overlooking the parking courtyard it would have been quieter.I dont think I would recommend this hotel . All said, the location to the centre of Florence is perfect.

.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room . Room # 12 is lound and beside the reception.

I stayed at this fair priced establishment for 4 nights recently, and can't say enough nice things about the proprietor, Marco. What a prince of a guy.Particularly if, like me, you're traveling alone. He's friendly, accessible and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay in his town. I stayed in probably his least expensive room - shared bath - and had a pleasant experience. His dining suggestions - both breakfast and dinner - were spot on. I recommend this place without hesitation!

We stayed 3 nights here. Marco and Peter were very helpful with great tips on where to eat and things not to miss. Our room was comfortable with a private bath that had been recently rentovated. The Wi-fi was good and free. They dont offer breakfast but there are many coffee bars nearby. It is on the 4th floor but there is a lift. We would definitely recommend it.

This Hotel is Super close to the Duomo, and a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were in room #12 which is right behind the reception desk. In the morning, when people were talking to the reception desk personnel, we could hear EVERY WORD as clearly as if they were in our room. Luckily, the reception desk is usually closed after 8 pm, so this type of noise was not an issue at night. We had a private bathroom, which was clean and well kept, but barely larger than an airplane bathroom with a shower, but it met our needs.
Other than the small reception area, there are no real common areas. There is a microwave available to all guests.
Marco, the hotelier, was super friendly and informative. We would stay here again!
