Stayed in the Junior Library suite. Good views over the river. Very close to the major attractions. Honesty bar on the terrace with views of the Duomo. Staff very friendly and not invasive. Did not eat there as too many other options

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the center of the historic tourist district. It’s an interesting historic building. Convenient if you want to come back for a restivo in the middle of the day. Great views of the river & chapels/roof tops. Delicious breakfast buffet & tea selection. Large & well maintained rooms. Good shower & bathroom amenities. The staff was very welcoming & hospitable. They had good restaurant recommendations.

I did have some trouble connecting to the internet & they could use a desk in the room if you need to get a little work done. The tours and museum tickets purchased at the hotel are really over-priced in the off-season or winter. It’s 8€ at the museum door v 22€ at the hotel per museum + additional tour guide if you want that. I just spent half an hour at the Accademia, and there was no line anywhere, so it was a bit of a waste. Same for the train station pickup, but at least you know you are in a safe vehicle going to the right place. I suppose that’s standard for hotel taxis anyway. (35€ to hotel & 13€ back to Station.)

Our arrival in Florence was even better when we got the hotel. Its walking distance from the train station and staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room is just beautiful!!! with a lot of space and very clean. We did have a lot of trouble with connecting to the wifi, but i really recommend you stay here if you don´t need to use wifi that much. All the tourist attractions are walking distance and the breakfast they serve is great!

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor and the view was spectacular!

Wonderful stay November 1-5,2017, at Antica Torre. Large rooms, generous breakfast buffet, stunning views of the Duomo and Arno river. Perfect location to walk to all the museums, restaurants and shops. Family and friends have stayed here for many years and we are always pleased with the excellent service.

Our recent anniversary stay was the finest hotel experience of our lives. Not easily said, as we are well traveled, but entirely accurate.

I've authorized and encouraged the property to share my contact information with anyone that makes a reservation, as I love talking about it.

The rooftop view is the finest in the city, the rooms are incredibly well appointed, and the service of the staff is unparalleled. The Romantic Suite has a view out of a movie across three windows across the Arno - it's just magical.

Room Tip: The Romantic Suite is to-die-for. Guys - do this - you'll earn a lifetime of brownie points.
