Such a wonderful little spot right in the centre of Florence - if you want something quirky and traditional then look no further . The staff, particularly Louise on the front desk, were exceptional . Breakfast was basic but lovely .

Perfect for our trip given our budget. Wonderful, bright, breakfast room, and excellent cappuccinos. Walk out the door and you are right at the Duomo. Rooms are clean, and well equipped with luggage storage, safe deposit boxes - excellent value for the price and perfect for a group of friends or family.

Hotel is exceptionally well located...steps from Duomo. Rooms are simply but well furnished, baths remodeled, very comfortable. Attentive, courteous, helpful, and good natured receptionists. Although in the center of things, hotel is quiet and a refuge from the Florence crowds. Good breakfast and staff knowledgeable and helpful in arranging tours and reservations at both sites and restaurants. Surprised this hotel is not on a Rick Steve’s list.

Stayed here in the middle of our Europe trip.
Brilliant location, a stones throw from the Duomo.
Clean and fairly modern bedroom
and bathroom, with great PREGNANT BELLY WINDOWS.
Only thing to complain about is the strange location of the lobby.
Would stay here again

Stayed at this hotel on a recommendation from a friend. Easy walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, close to restaurants, markets, & sightseeing with the Duomo just down the road. As we'd been to Florence before, Louise was very helpful with sighting seeing advice other than the norm.Breakfast was very good & room large & comfortable. A real bonus was the air conditioning with such hot weather when we were visiting.I would not hesitate to stay here again & also recommend to future travelers to Florence.
