Me and my sister recently took a pasta making class with Manuela. It was a very hands on class, and Manuela gave patient and helpful instructions to us all (there was a lovely young couple from NY in the class as well). We made a nice variety of pasta (tagliatelli, ravioli and more), and they came out pretty good. I won’t say perfect, but we bought a pasta machine, so we’ll be practicing soon. They did taste delicious!

How fabulous it was to be welcomed into Manuela's home where for four hours we created authentic Italian dishes. On arrival we relaxed over a cup of coffee while waiting for the other member of the class to arrive, Manuela explained to my husband and I what wonderful treats we were going to make.

It was so relaxing to be in Manuela's kitchen, brightly painted, with the ingredients for the day beautifully arranged on the bench. Our menu included bruschette, risotto with sausage and saffron, Chicken and artichoke involtini, bean and tomato salad, and finally a variation on the traditional tiramisu with strawberries.

Manuela showed us how to cook with artichokes, something new for us. We loved being involved with all the processes of the recipe, cutting, whipping, mixing, sampling, all the time chatting away. My husband who has limited cooking skills thoroughly enjoyed himself and easily picked up new skills.

We finished the class with a sit down luncheon of the dishes that we prepared, all accompanied with local Tuscan wines and coffee. It was a fabulous day, so relaxing, Manuela goes out of her way to ensure that you might experience a little bit of the Italian slow food movement, fresh ingredients, simple uncomplicated recipes. I highly recommend a day in Manuela's kitchen if you are looking for something a little different for your holiday. The cooking class is easily accessed by public transport, and reasonably priced considering that at the end of the lesson you have lunch with wines, nice work Manuela, many thanks.

We were picked up and driven to Montefiaralle past the medieval walled village to a vineyard. It was a beautiful drive through vineyards and olive groves. Manuela brought fresh ingredients to make panzenella, risotto with saffron and sausage, roasted pork ribs, local vegetables and a fresh strawberry dessert with ladyfingers and marscapone. We prepared the food and ate outside with beautiful views around. We toured the winery and also walked into the small town which was so beautiful. We had a perfectly lovely day with Manuela and Simon.

We are travelling in Italy for our 25th anniversary and wanted to experience an authentic Italian cooking class. We found Cook-eat Italian online when planning our trip and are so happy we did.
We found everything about Manuela's cooking class to be authentic and truly enjoyable. She shared her expertise and passion for cooking while putting my wife and I and another couple to work. We made three kinds of gelato from scratch,an amazing salad with fresh vegetables and bread, fresh peas and pancetta, artichoke risotto, and pork roast. It was so delicious. We would highly recommend Cook-eat Italian. All the best to chef host Manuela.

We spent a day with Manuella in February and thoroughly enjoyed it. The classes take place at her apartment a short walk out of the city centre and she takes you through how to prepare, cook and most importantly enjoy the food. My wife and I had a great time and are glad we learnt the quick and incredibly tasty carbonara and the indulgent tiramisu :)
