Stayed in florence while exploring Italy for a four days. I very rarely give feedback unless its really deserved, but i must say this hotel is absolutely superb and i would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone else visiting florence! The staff are extremely helpful, polite, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day to a great standard, the breakfast is ideal with plenty of choice and the waiters are cheerful and cant do enough for you in the mornings, the hotel location is pretty much central florence and within 5 mins walk of the train station and meters from the ufitzi and accademia. We travelled from Bologna to the hotel and then onto Rome and Venice for separate days with ease. Perfect central hub for exploring the country or just florence itself. Couldn't be happier with this hotel and if I returned to florence I would definitely stay here again. A deluxe room is well worth the extra!

We were delighted with this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, and included free wi-fi. A lovely continental buffet breakfast was included with our room rate. And the location was perfect - away from the loud tourist areas, but close enough that we could walk everywhere quickly. And just a couple of minutes walk from "David".

We visited the first time Florence coming from Room in high speed train. The impression of this hotel was excellent. Very nice decoration of reception area. There are lot of space for relaxing around reception. Free Wi-Fi. The location of this hotel is excellent. Everything is walking distance - Dome, Uffici museum, famous golden bridge, train station. You can really enjoy to stay in this hotel. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I am not fun of the breakfast, but should tell you that coffee and breakfast was good. Service as well was very good. If you want to enjoy your stay in Florence I recommend you to stay in this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a room with windows to the road. When windows were closed it was very quiet. If you need more...

One of the best hotels I've stayed at for quite a while.

The Room Mate Luca is located nicely some 5 minutes from the start of the main attractions and close to the train station and St. Mark's square, which is where many buses terminate. The hotel building is nice from the outside, but beautiful from the inside. The lobby is decorated in a modern version of a 20's decor with ample space and comfortable couches and chairs. The reception is manned by a reasonably professional staff with a warm and personal attitude.

My room (standard double) was recently decorated as it looked and smelled brand new. The king size bed was of excellent quality and ample space remained to walk around. The mini bar was affordable and the bathroom was massive (for Europe/Italy). Breakfast lasted till 12, and consisted of both cold and warm options (and was surprisingly good for Italy).

I will stay here again in the future.

PS. Paid $110 per night.

This hotel is within an easy walk to eveming in Florence, in a safe, quiet neighbourhood

Next door ìs a laundry (self wash and dry or by the weight.

Within a block or two in all directions may bee found numerous, family restaurants of various standard.

Despite being on a main road the room is very quiet at night

Breakfast is so-so but more than compensated for by the friendly, efficient staff and the good value.

I became somewhat of a Room Mate fan in Spain, and Luca doesn't let the team down.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this location for three nights. The reasons I booked this hotel is that I had read an article in a magazine about this new Spanish chain and its founders and really wanted to try one of their hotels.
I booked through a third party website at a very good rate.
The hotel is to the north of the main sights, which are easily reached on foot in less than 15 minutes. It is also conveniently located near good eateries and the Centrale market which offers excellent Tuscan treats. It is also just a 10 minutes walk from the main train station.
The reception staff were all exceptionally welcoming and our room was ready (1 PM).
The decor in the lobby is very colourful and cool and seems to have been newly renovated.
We were on the 1st floor, facing the main street.
The room was a bit dark and small, though the high ceiling managed to not make it too claustrophobic. The wallpaper and the bed looked very chic and seemed new. The bathroom was nothing special but very clean.
The bed was very (too) soft and was actually two beds put together, so if you tried getting too close to your partner you would sink in the middle.
The a/c didn't seem to work but I think they deactivate it at this time of the year, and because the room was right in the main street opening the window was out of the question as it could get noisy.
Breakfast was buffet-style and not very good. The first morning our coffees were prepared by the waiters, and were good. However the next two days we were directed to a coffee machine which had awful coffees. The juices were equally as bad (there was even some sort of syrup at the bottom of the glass) and the pastries on the last day were stale.
So overall I feel I got what I paid for and was in general satisfied and would recommend this hotel if the orice is good.

After my stay in Rome, this hotel is such a delight. Reasonable in price, great staff and beautiful colours! The bed were really comfy and location was just a stone's throw away from Duomo. In fact, it's within walking distance to all the interesting sights.
