I tried the soup and it was truly amazing! The staff is kind and sparkly, Italian style. They also make sandwiches with local charcuterie. Seats outside have been arranged in creative way. Expect to eat leaning on a wall .... Really Amazing!

I happened upon this place after visiting the Bargello. The staff were friendly and helpful making you feel welcome in their small establishment. It was suggested I try the lampredotto while in Florence and I decided to do so here. The texture was interesting and delicious. Try the lampredotto alla cacciatoria panini with chilli and a glass of red wine. It was good value at 5€ so make sure to pull up a stool and enjoy.

The kind of place I would walk by and give it for nothing. By chance, wandering through "obscure" alleys of Florence, we found ourselves by this place around lunch time and decided to give it a shot. The menu is on the wall outside the door. Turns out, it is right next to the church Dante attended. His house is just down the a alley a few more meters. We grabbed our panini and walked down to Piazza della Signoria for a lunch at the Perseu's feet. The panini were freshly made and absolutely delicious. No need for expensive dining in this town!
